The refrigeration gets cold very quickly and the thermostat was tested at many different temperatures all the way down to the mininum and worked great. All menus were run through and responded well. I do not have a rotor for this unit so the drive function was not tested. The"drive" and"door" error lights would light when I would hit the"start" button on the unit. Neslab HX200 Recirculating Chiller For sale- a Neslab HX200 Recirculating Chiller. The chiller is in good physical condition. I have powered it up briefly for the pictures as you can see. But have not tried testing the refrigeration section. So it is untested other than as described and NO warranty is offered. HOWEVER. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale. No returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price. Not including shipping costs which will be substantial. Just so that we are clear on that. This is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems. So any purchase entails a certain degree of ... morerisk. If you Buy It Now your risk is limited to the shipping costs both ways. If you submit an offer you do so knowing that you cannot return it. In either case it is up to you to decide whether the risk level is acceptable to you. And if not you need to pass on this particular item. The only thing noted that might serve as a bit of a red flag is that one of the side trim panels has been removed and was lying on top of the unit when I bought it. In my experience these things are almost always missing the trim panels around the refrigeration section for whatever reason. So having this one off but still with the unit doesn’t necessarily mean that they pulled it off to service the unit and then just decided to get rid of it instead. Which I guess would be the worst case scenario. The trim panel is included even though it isn't pictured. But as a good customer once said about these things. They can always be repaired. This one uses R-22 refrigerant which is readily available. So any decent refrigeration mechanic should be able to completely rebuild the thing should that prove to be necessary.
