Doors on the side are glass and open to wood shelves of both sides.I don't know anything about it, I got this at an auction 12 years ago and they also couldn't tell me anything about it. I have had various people say it looks like its from the late 1800's- early 1900's. Im not sure but it does look very old and handmade to me but I am not an expert. It is in good shape for its age but could use refinishing. I never did it because I like the way it looks. The plaid is blue, gray, tan, white, red and has a gold colored thread running through it. The shirt is in great shape, although soft, the collar is crisp and sharp. Very cool. Very classic vintage women's H-bar-C Western/ Cowboy shirt! It's a long sleeved, black shirt with white piping, white applique and multi-colored embroidery. There's smiley pockets in white, and darts at the bust. It is a cotton gabardine, it's soft, but not as drapey as rayon gab, and not stiff and coarse like the polyester. The shirt is in sound shape overall. But not perfect. there's plenty of normal, overall wear from washing and use. No holes, tears, stains. but some fading, and fuzziness to the embroidery! As the pictures show, there's a small faint mark near the tag, and the size/content tags are frayed. The size on the tag is no longer readable.
