Offered here is an original Aloris Quick Change Tool Post. Model BXA. This tool post is recommended for use on 10" to 15" Swing Lathes. The tool post is equipped with the more desireable Wedge Type Clamp and it does not appear to have been used extensively. The dove tails look to be in good condition and they open and close smoothly. The T Nut measures approximately 1-9/16" wide x 3" Long x 0.335" The machined tang that slides between the compound jaws measures 1" wide x 3/8" high. I would think that this T Nut could be machined if necessary in order for it to fit your lathe. Included with the tool post are(4) Tool Holders. The holders are: Aloris BXA-1 Turning Tool Holder; Aloris BXA-2 Turning and Boring Tool Holder; Aloris BXA-6 Multiple Tool Holder; Dorian BXA 10 combination Knurling. A local company is in the process of consolidating its machine shop capacity. Any surplus and unused tools and accessories will be sold. And as the items are released for disposition they will be offered for sale. I will describe the items as accurately as I am able, but sale is final so please feel free to ask any questions that you might have. Offered here is a Phase II Quick Change Tool Post. This is stock# 250-200; it is a piston type clamp and I am fairly certain that this is a BXA size tool post. The(2) holders. Tool bits, and allen key are included. The holder is shown just as it came from service. It could use a cleaning and aside from that it should be ready to be put into service.
