KDK Tool Holder#105 Quick-Change Master Bar for boring bars up to 1" dia. USED. See pictures. Unit is In good working order with all(5) screws installed. Included are TWO extra-long height adjustment screws(total of 7 screws) Screws are tight and work good. KDK is now out-of-business and original bars are becoming scarce. KDK is noted for it's highly repeatable tooling design. Due to the use of a socket set screw resting on a round post, with a single point of contact rather than a round wobbly wheel resting on top of the tool post. A feature not always recognized with the KDK design is the low profile which makes it possible to actually see over the tool post or to use the top flat of the tool post to measure down to the tool tip and set the tool-bit at center height. KDK 161/205 Quick Change 1.5" Boring Bar Tool Holder
An excellent condition quick change genuine KDK tool holder for 1.5" boring bars. It is marked KDK 161 in the dovetail and 205 on the top. There is a small rough area on one end seen in the last picture. Usually contact with the chuck leaves a arc of roughness but this appears linear and the original bluing is present in the rough area suggesting that the blank from which it was made may not have cleaned up on that end. All and all it is in excellent condition and will fill your needs for a 1.5" boring bar holder. Comes exactly as shown in the pictures. I do not accept international orders.
