This is an aluminum bodied valve pulled from what appeared to be a functional vacuum system. It was still under vacuum when I pulled it apart. The valve served as a stop between the diffusion pump part of the system and the roughing pump. Which was unattached. So if it was leaking the system would have leaked down to atmospheric pressure. It looked like it had not been used in awhile. So the only real question here is whether the pneumatically actuated gate opens and closes. The surplus condition code theoretically indicated the entire system should be functional. But it is untested and sold without warranty. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt ... moreyou may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. This sale is for a combo of 3 items that you will need to service and recharge your car's air conditioner(a/c) with R134a refrigerant. Included are a 2.5 CFM US general vacuum pump. An R134a a/c manifold gauge and a can tap valve that you will need to recharge R134a into the a/c system from the cans. I bought these items. Used them once to fix my a/c in 08 Hyundai elantra after I blew a hole in a/c condenser. It works great, and I loved the DIY. Paid $144 for the pump. $49 for the gauge and $12 for the can tap valve. Shipping charges to be paid by the buyer. Pump oil is not included. you can buy pump oil for $5 or so from a local autozone or auto parts store. I used the pump oil that came with the package.
