Gorman Rupp Diesel 4 Water/ Trash pump
I have a 4" gormin rupp diesel trash/ water pump that is trailer mounted. The engine is a air cooled 50hp deutz diesel. The engine runs awesome and the pump pumps water great. I had this pumping water about 2 weeks ago with no problems. The only thing it needs is it does not have a cam lock fitting on the discharge end and one of the ears is broke on the suction camlock fitting. It needs the line that goes to the oil pressure sending gauge as it has a hole in it. The exhaust pipe exiting the muffler is rusted through. Unit has 6" inlet on the side. With 3.5" liquid-add inlet and a 6" outlet. Motor is a Toshiba 40 HP, 230/460 V, 1770 rpm. Pump starts and runs well. Motor and pump are unitized on a C/S 7/16" inverted channel. Was used on offhaul at a poultry plant. Two of the bolt attachment dog ears on the pump access plate have been broken off. However, the pump was being used and working well with the 4 remaining dog ears. System was replaced with a larger system. The pump worked great, motor was replaced because it started burning a lot of oil. This pump cost $340.00 new WITHOUT the cage.
