Hi& welcome to the auction of my Kiev 88 metering prism which came with the camera. In good cosmetic condition. The glass is excellent not a mark on it. Internally a few tiny dust particles. It works very well& will also do the same with the Hasselblad(it fits& works on my 500CM) This meter has been checked for accuracy against my D3, OM3, LX& my Gossen Luna 6 F, all agree to about 1/6 of a stop being the maximum discrepancy. The meter was placed on the 500C/M body with 80mm lens the comparison digital& 35mm cameras were fitted with 50mm lenses& the Gossen was used incident& reflective. The results are as expected very good as no two camera meters agree exactly on anything. The best match was the D3. Included with this auction will be simplified instructions for use in English& the original instructions that ... morecame with the meter(if I can find them) Also included will be instructions on how to recalibrate the meter as this may sometimes be required dependant on the brightness of the focusing screen you are using.
