I got this from a gentleman whose was retiring and closing his service station about 8 years ago. I believe it was a gear oil pump that was mounted on 17 gallon drums-it's 30& 1/2 inches from the bottom of the foot valve to the under side of the mounting plate. I confess-I added the"kerosene and gasoline" to my auction title just to get more people to look. Look at pictures 6.7 and 8-I put a BLUE washer on the pump handle so you can see that it moves up and down. Look at pictures 9 and 10-I put the BLUE washer on a prong on the pump shaft so you can see that it hits a mechanism that looks like it might count strokes. A friend thinks this is hooked to a selector dial which tells you how many strokes to pump 1 LB. or 3 LB. or whatever quantity is desired. I'm listing this as pickup only. Lower end drum pump tube assembly Alemite brand. Believe it is Alemite 7216 model. Includes lower pumping extension steel tube. And interior pumping rod and hardware. Interior pumping rod has threaded top to attach to air motor assembly. Also has check assembly at end of tube. Add the air motor assembly and it is operable. Untested, but has all parts as described. Also has the air motor adapter and fluid exit port assembly that bolts on the top, exit port looks to be 1" NPT. Tube section is just under 3' long. 2" dimeter, which will fit into a standard 55 gallon drum bung opening. See pictures for condition. No rust but has discoloring on exterior of tube. Here's a great looking old drum transfer pump. Made by A Y McDonald of Dubuque, Iowa in the 1940's or prior. It has a brass casing with copper top and cast iron handle and a heavy steel pipe. The whole thing is very heavily made. Nice buffed condition with normal surface wear and scuffs. Compressed. It measures 33" long with a17" of that being the bottom pipe. The spout is a little over 6" wide and the casing is about 2" wide. Was used to pump oil. Gas or water from a drum. A great addition to your man cave or garagemahal. Weighs a little over 7 pounds. This is a rare. Incredibly nice Aro hand cranked pump for a 16 gallon oil/grease drum. Also included in the sale is the drum and rare cart with cast-iron wheels. As you can see in the photos this pump has a beautiful clock-style dial with great patina. The crank handle knob is in great shape as well. The original cork float is solid and intact. The overall look of this pump, drum and cart is terrific. Hose appears to be solid with some slight checking(I tried to show this in the photos) Since the drum did not have any oil in it, the pump has not been tested to see if it works.
