Hockmeyer Triple Shaft Vacuum Mixer with Lift. Center Shaft is Sweep Blade with Teflon scrapers. Second shaft is High speed dispersing blade. Third shaft held a homogenizer housing which is missing but could be replaced or another dispersing blade attached. This third shaft also needs a new drive motor and belt mounted which is a minor cost. 20 gallon tank is stainless steel and jacketed with ball valve for bottom discharge.Also included is the hydraulic ram press to help press product out of the 20 gallon tank.Displays are in explosion proof housing.HISTORYThis mixer has been only used for Research and development purposes. This mixer was purchased new by Morton International and was originally located at the Woodstock. IL R&D facility. Rohm&Haas purchased Morton Intl and move the mixer to the Ringwood, IL plant- where the mixer sat unused for several years. Custom made 5 gallon vacuum mixer- made from an industrial drill press- massive amount of torque. 10HP 3PH Motor. Holder inside SS tank that holds a straight sided 5 gallon plastic pail. I used this to de-air a construction sealant that I was manufacturing. The lid and blade lift up. Nice to mix right in the plastic pail. Set up with a forked mix blade just to blend and de-air but you could use a shaft with disperser blade. Comes with welch vacuum pump.Daniel
