This board is very handy. A friend of mine had it hanging by her garage door so she would not forget papers and items for the kids going to school each morning. Stands 14.5" high and 12" wide, The black frame is 1.5" wide, The bottom has a 1/2" high piece with a slot to hold a writing utensil. It can stand on its own. But it doesn't stand up well on thick fabric, such as a tablecloth. It stands on my glass tabletop well. The back has two holes for hanging. I tested a dry-erase marker on it.
