In order to connect it to a television, the television would need a vga input or you would need to purchase a dvi to hdmi cable(assuming the tv has an hdmi input) This is a fairly high end document camera. It is auto-focus. Has an optical zoom, has lazer lights to identify the corners of the viewing frame, and can record pictures and video. The manual is readily available in pdf online if you want to check out specific features. It has the ability use an sd card and a usb thumb drive. I know you can store video to the thumb drive and I believe you can load video from there as well. But please check the manual. Please note that all the photos show different parts of the same item. This is a used AverMedia Avervision M50 P0F3 document camera. This model was sold new between 2010 and 2012. It comes with an after market power supply. It does not come with any cables. At a minimum. You would need a vga or dvi cable(and a monitor with a vga or dvi connection) to use this. In order to connect it to a television, the television would need a vga input or you would need to purchase a dvi to hdmi cable(assuming the tv has an hdmi input) This is a fairly high end document camera. It is auto-focus. Has an optical zoom, has lazer lights to identify the corners of the viewing frame, and can record pictures and video.
