This gear box(the smaller one on top of the larger one) was the top section of manual collimator position machine and was operated with hand wheel only. Sort of like a satellite dish positioner. The steel structure and hand wheel was removed and now only the gear box remains. This sale is for the smaller unit only, the larger one may still be available for purchase in the store. I don't think this machine was ever used and definitely never used with a motor drive making it used but never operated condition. Note the flange cast to the case.
