PAIR OF OLD AMPMETERS ON WOODEN STANDS-GE AND WESTINGHOUSE
Here are a pair of old Amp meters in their own wooden stands. Their dials each measure 3.5" The needles move freely but I did not know how to test them. The meter cases and binding posts are made of Bakelite. One is made by General Electric and the other is a Westinghouse. The Westinghouse meter has the word"converted" written in pencil on the dial. It also says"Radio Frequency" so I assume it is used for radio equipment or crystal radios. One of the meters needs the two lead wires reconnected-either spliced or replaced-easy fix though. By the looks of these meters I would guess that they were made in the 20's or 30's. They make a nice display or possibly for use. You must be happy with these items as pictured and described. Antique Westinghouse American Brunswick Eldredge Sewing Machine Bobbin Winder
This is an Antique Sewing Machine Long Bobbin Winder. It is from a Westinghouse Apartment electric sewing machine. But may also fit Eldredge, American, National, Brunswick, Western Electric and all models with the same"exact" body pictured reguardless of the name. It may even fit some treadle version machines. I have pictured two electric models this fits and what the mounting hub may look like. It has a new rubber wheel. The rubber wheel rides the balance wheel. This part has been oiled and tested and works great. The metal has a fair shine with some discoloration in areas. The black paint has some wear and is dirty on the backside. It comes with the mounting screw and tension spring. It measures 3-3/4" across at the top. It mounts to a 1/4" hub on the body of the machine. It measures 1-3/4" from the inside of the ... moremounting notch to the middle of the rubber wheel. If you intend on mounting this to a treadle make sure the treadle cord is 1-3/4" from the right side of the mounting hub and remove the rubber wheel so it can ride the cord. VINTAGE WESTINGHOUSE 2 burner table top cooking stove This is an amazingly beautiful and clean WORKING piece! Two burner table top cooking stove. We would call it a hot pad today. But that term doesn’t seem to do this justice. This is either porcelain or SUPER high gloss and thick coat enamelware. I just cant tell for certain. Absolutely LOOKS porcelain but the weight of just under 11# made me question it. I have another listed that is porcelain and it weighs more. Unit is 20”x10” and about 3.5” tall. Two metal ringless burner pads are clean and free from damage or rust. Temp control setting on the face is darn cute! LOL Two separate burner settings. One for each pad, offer Low, Med and High setting. I get heat from high and med, but none from low. Possibly thats something you can adjust. I am stupid and scared with electronics. Westinghouse ... morelogo on the front screams 1954! But I am not certain of the age. The bottom has engraved: Westinghouse. Mansfield, OHIO. Cat. No. HP-521, 115 Volts, 1650 watts, AC ONLY There are 4 rubber toes to keep it stationary. The cover. Be it porcelain or enamelware is STELLAR clean with no chips, cracks or cooked-on icky stuff. This is an original WWII US M1 Helmet in untouched condition. Shell is marked with the Original Embarkation Chalk markings on the front and rear. The front is chalked with the roster number.55" and the rear has the NCO bar. Helmet shell is heat stamped in the brim, 896G" Shell has the original factory paint and Chinstraps were modified for the Early 1945 pattern Chinstraps. Female end is the correct 1943 era with the"ball" added. The male end chinstrap was replaced completly in early 1945 era. Liner is a Westinghouse lot 34 and Marked SSG Michelbach, possibly James L. Paint is good overall condtion but paint is rubbed out at the Willcox name decoration. Petal has small chips and nicks from normal use. Cords still functions but is somewhat dried out and probably should be replaced. Sewing machine still works good and is complete but could use some general maintenance. Wetinghouse motor still runs strong and is in total control from it's petal, operating smoothly and quietly. The carrying case is sturdy and strong and still looks great. The material outside is in great shape for it's age but inside has a portion of materal rubbed out by the motor being taken in and out. RARE vintage Westinghouse Debonaire table wall mount fan Deco not brass blade
Up for auction is a very rare 10" Westinghouse Debonaire deco fan in very good original condition. The deco blade cover has no damage. No bends, straight! The entire fan looks to have been stored for a very long time, great patina. The cloth cord has been cut and needs to be replaced. I did plug it in and the motor runs as smooth as ever. The plunger to activate the oscillation is frozen, it will need cleaned and lubed. The most recent patent date is Feb 13th 1923. The 2 piece part that covers the top of the rod at the ceiling is NOT original to this fan, but it does fit the down rod nicely. NOTE ABOUT HANGING.I am not sure what other parts would be needed to hang this fan. I do know that parts are missing at the ceiling level that would be needed in order to hang this fan. Beautiful Westinghouse Reversible Window Fan with window panels
This is a rare Westinghouse Fan from the 1960's. It must have been top of the line due to its beautiful design. The controls are very nice with the gold accent. It has two speeds and is electrically reversible. You may never see this on Ebay for a long time if ever. It works great and has oil ports on the motor. It measures about 21" square and 7" deep. This fan weighs almost 32 pounds unpacked. They certainly don't make them like this anymore. There are a couple missing pieces of the front grill. I have them and will include them. Antique Art Deco Westinghouse Pedestal Floor Fan
Age is somewhere between vintage and antique. Fan runs well on all 3 speeds and is an oscillating fan which may also be used as stationary if you loosen the nob at the top rear. a lot of the wiring has been replaced-not by me so i don't know how good a job was done on it. Head may be tilted to various angles. Fan blades are 12" diameter. From the ground to the top of the fan is 54" at the lowest setting. 74" with the extension raised up. Base is 14" diameter and has it's bottom plate on it. A decorative plate over the top of the base plate has some large chips/chunks out of it. The rear of the fan motor is dented in but if you take the cover off you can probably beat it back out-it isn't cracked. This is an old iron in very nice condition. The pictures show the condition. There is a small amout of light surface rust on it that could be easily removed with a piece of steel wool. VINTAGE WESTINGHOUSE 12” DOUBLE LEVER OSCILLATING ELECTRIC FAN-UNRESTORED
I am by no means an expert on vintage electric fans. But I believe this fan to be a rather rare model manufactured by Westinghouse around 1910. It is a“double lever” oscillating desk fan. THIS FAN HAS NOT BEEN RESTORED! Rather it is in original condition with the exception of the recent installation of a new vintage style cord and plug. This recently installed cord and plug replaced a damaged cord and plug that had been installed probably sometime in the‘50’s or‘60’s. This fan is being offered as a collector’s item and although it currently appears to run properly it should first be examined by a qualified electrician if the buyer intends to use it for utilitarian purposes. It is after all over one hundred years old! I believe this fan to be in very good vintage condition. It still runs and oscillates properly. I will note the following condition ... moreissues: The original china black enamel finish is pretty much intact with the exception of some minor wear scuffs and scrapes as well as small areas where the painted finish has“alligatored” I have attempted to show these flaws with my photos. The brass blades are bright and unbent; however. There are a few very small dots of scattered tarnish. There was most likely a felt bottom originally which is missing; however, the original headwire spring is still in place.
