Compact and beautifully built SCR-65 wireless radio spark transmitter manufactured ca. 1918 for the US Signal Corps by the Connecticut Telephone and Electric Co. best known for its Sodion line of radio products(introduced several years after this transmitter was made) SCR-65s are very hard to come by in any condition. But to find one this pristine is quite unusual, since almost all of them served time in battle during WWI. Small and light and powered by batteries. SCR-65s were used aboard aircraft for artillery spotting, relaying information to US ground troops who were picking up the transmissions with their BC-14a and SCR-54a receivers. ... moreAnd while the term"Marconi Era" is bandied about on ebay recklessly these days, it should go without saying that this is a true Marconi Era wireless device, built and used during the teens, years before the advent of commercial broadcasting, when Marconi and his colleagues were still actively developing pioneering radio technologies. Condition of the apparatus is excellent throughout. With hardly any signs of wear evident despite its age and use. Everything is original, including the cabinet finish, cabinet tag, helix, binding post nuts and connecting wires. The instruction sheet inside the cabinet is also original, and its condition is excellent. The wires are still flexible, and they hook snugly onto the helix. The knurled hard-rubber tensioners are in excellent condition and working properly. The case latches are original and undamaged, as are the hinges. The condition of every component mounted on the interior chassis is almost like new(see photos) This is a super nice transmitter in all respects, one whose historic importance cannot be overstated. This auction is for a used SCR Control Board assembly as removed from a working Clark ST25 forklift. This is the entire control assembly. It was tested 100% good on a working ST25. This is an older assembly but very functional. These are getting hard to find. You will get the entire assembly. Just as seen in the pictures. Clark part# 2321035 built by GE. This unit may work on many other models of lifts, check with your dealer. While you are at it ask for a new price. It will be more than your old lift is likely worth. Gorgeous pink and purple and yellow and green and blue and on and on colors in this three piece set that is circa 1830. Some of the color has worn off in the center of the plates due to long ago usage I guess and the cup has stress hairlines I have pictured for you. This is such a good looking set as I have shown in the second picture. Lovely on a side table for display. The larger saucer is 8" Smaller saucer is 5 1/2" and the cup is 3" high. It mounts on the front of these receivers and was used for testing and alignment of these receivers in the repair shop. These knobs are very rare and almost impossible to find. Up for sale is a set of Cane Creek brake levers. Model SCR-5. These are a great set of levers for a singlespeed bike. Only selling it because I decided that I wanted gears on my cyclocross bike.
