Welcome! I purchased several photography items from a local college that shut down it's photo lab. I have not tested this meter. I did order new batteries and they are included with this sale. NO BATTERY CORROSION! The batteries are alkaline. The same ones that were in the meter when I acquired it. As with most older photo equipment. This meter originally came with mercury batteries(which are now banned in the U.S) It made need adjusting to compensate for the voltage differences in the batteries. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. A couple of dust particles. But seems pretty clear to me. It appears to be working fine but I don't know. Instructions included. Has been kept in my climate controlled. No smoking, no pet home. Other than the possible needed adjustment for the batteries. Wabash, Ind. U.S.A. Pat. No.1,282,546 PATENTS PENDING” This patent was issued in 1918. The clock at the bottom is 3” in diameter x extends out 3” from the wall when mounted in the thermostat. The face is marked Minneapolis-Honeywell 8 Day 7 Jewel MODEL 77” The back of the clock has adjustments for PM& AM with serial number‘25850’ and takes a key to wind it. Here is a Minneapolis Honeywell Heat Regulator Thermostat with the patent date of Oct.22. 1918, so it was probably used in the 1920's. It has an 8 day jewel clock, which is a Minneapolis 77. The thermometer, I believe works. It is about 74 and that is correct. But I could be wrong. It is USED, shows some wear. I don't know if it works. 1960s Vintage Masonic Emblem Honeywell Desk Top Thermometer Paperweight
Here is an interesting item in the form of a vintage Honeywell desktop thermometer paperweight featuring a Masonic emblem at its center. This was part of a small collection of Masonic and OES memorabilia that I recently purchased featuring mostly items from the late 50s through the mid 70s. It measures about 2" by 2" and does have a small crack at the upper back of the clear dome(see photo) The piece is perfectly stable despite this and other than a few flecks to the creamy white paint.
