The Story: Our father was a clockmaker/repairman since the late 1940's and retired again and again and finally boxed everything up in early 2000's. He has left us those boxes of clocks and clock parts. Each box we open is a surprise. This sturdy Westinghouse Automatic Electric Range(Clock Style 327637) was the delight in this box. Sure. It looks like it was handled by many cooks, but it's still ticking. The TIME set knob is missing, so that is a challenge, especially since the ALARM set knob doesn't fit the TIME shaft/stem. But this clock has the alarm-stop arm(I'm not really sure what it is actually called) that is missing on most other pictures I've seen of this clock model on the web. It also has a left leg(the right one is a small rusty screw that someone improvised with) which I haven't seen in any other picture. ... moreThe peg leg just gives it a little humor. But you could just take off the legs like everyone else has done. About 4 7/8" wide, body is about 2 7/8" deep but the winding keys stick out beyond making it about 4" deep total. It weighs just over 2 lbs. Condition: I may not have caught everything verbally. In one respect, the physical condition is not so good, but to me, it just gives the clock the look of something that sat on someone's range top and helped the cook time her meals and baked and canned goods. WWII Lieutenant US M1 Helmet Front Seam Swivel Bale w/ Westinghouse Liner
This is an original WWII Lieutenant front seam M1 helmet swivel bale with a westinghouse liner. The shell is in fair condition with lots of rust on the top and other places(can be seen in the photos) Dents on the top and one on the front, silver paint on the inside of the shell, and scratches on both the inside and outside of the shell. It also seems to have a spot on the front where there may have once been a lieutenants bars, and has part of the seam missing on the front. The liner is in fair condition with about 50% of the paint still intact and only one small crack on the back of the helmet. It does have three rips, one of which are on the nape strap lining, one that is a direct cut, and another that is more like a partial rip on the webbing. Offered here is this vet acqured US WWII M1 fixed bale steel helmet with a Westinghouse paratrooper liner. It also comes with a captured German flag with the national colors. Red, white and black. The pictures will tell the story as far as condition. The shell is a fixed bale with original straps. Most of the rough painted OD finish is intact, except on the top where it has sat upside down. The liner is a little misshapen when removed from the shell, but straightens nicely when reinstalled. The liner is complete with the original leather, chamois-lined chin cup, which is misshapen but still pliable. The leather lining is dry, but without any tears or losses. The front of the liner has painted rank stripes. The flag is stained and has a some holes in the black field. It measures about 29" x 20" The vet who brought this home from ... moreEurope was not a paratrooper, but was in a tank destroyer unit. His family did not know the circumstances of why he brought this helmet home. It is a nice, honest original, however, and offered with no hidden reserve and a low starting bid. Up for auction is for one antique sewing machine made by"The Free Westinghouse" company. Seems to be in good condition. Everything goes up and down and round and round. It has an electric motor on it that I don't know if it works or not. This machine seems like it could be used for electric or a treadle. There is a bobbin in it as you can see in the 7th picture. Measurements are: mounting holes = 11 3/8" Base = 14 5/8" + 7" and 11 1/2" to the top of large wheel.

This is storied to be from the Hanford Nuclear facility in Hanford Wa. about 60 miles from my home, Hanford is where the Atomic bomb was developed and the bombs that were delivered to Hiroshima and Nagasaki were born. As vintage analog meters go this is massive. The meters pointer moves freely, the glass is intact and has a spectacular dial face. The original mounting bolts are slightly bent, there is some corrosion and paint chipping as well as some grit and grime, this would definably benefit from a thorough cleaning, this is untested and being sold as a display item.
