There was a guy, The" Vacuum Tube Guy, that always sat up there and had this little sample tube by his register. I dealt a lot in tubes at the time, and kept pestering him to sell me this as I like things that were rare and unique- he mentioned that people always wanted to buy it from him, and he refused, he's had it for years. Then one sale day he sold it to me, and I had it in my radio room as a prop ever since. Measures 2.25" tall. 1.75" across, it is my understanding this is a miniaturized version of a high voltage vacuum tube the company sold, a high voltage relay, that today is part number Gigavac G8, according to the Kilovac/Tyco high voltage relay ... morepart number cross reference to GIGAVAC part numbers, as I read it. It is primarily used for high voltage antenna, although it has found use with capacitor switching on high voltage power supplies, and a new(very different looking, ceramic, not glass) replacement part is $595.00. Hey guys. Up for sale is my 2011 Scott Voltage FR 10 frame. Size is short. I purchased this frame very end of June. 2011 and rode it for that summer and half of the summer of 2012. Long story short, there was a scratch in the paint and I thought the frame was cracked. Took it all apart and down to the local Scott dealer. It shipped to Saskatchewan to another dealer where he chipped away the paint where the scratch was(pictured) to make sure the frame was actually cracked, and it wasn't. In the mean time the local shop I originally brought it to closed over the winter and I just picked up the frame about a week ago. Over the winter when I thought this was cracked I built up another bike, hence the reason for selling. This bike has treated me very well over the year and a half I had ridden it and has not gave me any problems what so ever. ... moreIt is in fantastic condition and looks like it has only been used for 5 rides. It has only been to the mountains for 2 days and other than that used on the mellow. Bald prairie, so there are some light cosmetic scratches but no dings, dents, or cracks. Great condition overall. The frame will come with shock mounts for a 9.5 x 3.0 shock(adustable from 160mm- 180mm travel) Dropouts and axle for 135 x 12 rear hub, derailleur hanger, and rear brake mount for a 203mm rotor. The head tube is 1.5" 73mm BB, ISCG and ISCG 05 tabs. Parts included with frame and price are: stock Scott seat clamp. Seat post, and seat. I will also include a brand new set of blue, Token lock on grips, as well as 3 top caps(FSA, Crank Brothers, and the stock Scott) + bolts and 2 star nuts. A Vintage Porcelain Sign Reading "DANGER High Voltage KEEP AWAY" MUST SEE!!
This is such a Great Vintage Sign. It is in near perfect condition and it has some weight to it. I took pictures of everything that is wrong. Very small chips in the paint and some paint in small amounts where it shouldn't be. There are no dents or any other damage than what was mentioned above.
