Up for sale is an original Langevin AM-16 rack with 5 Langevin AM-16 amplifiers which have been tested. Wired, and are ready to use. New low-noise, linear, regulated Acopian +24V"gold box" power supply. All modules have been completely rebuilt and matched for gain where necessary. The AM-16's do not have any electrolytic capacitors in the signal path so they do not need to be recapped and rarely ever fail. The AM-16 preamplifier is more aggressive than an API and sound fantastic on almost all sources. But are commonly used for drums. The AM-16 is my favorite sounding discrete transistor preamp.
