Tex Shoemaker Leather Policeman's Belt. How Old I Can't Really Say- My mother runs a thrift store in Adelanto. CA, she sends me stuff like this all the time, some of it dating back to the 1870s. This police belt is made of very thick leather, the belt is about 1/4 inch thick, could be used for years if someone wanted to. Has definately seen some use but the only real damage is on the inside of the belt where a reinforcing strap's stitching has peeled loose for about 3 inches. Size is 38, stamped near the buckling part. Handcuff case is stamped Tex Shoemaker Co. just like the belt itself. Baton holder is unmarked but carries the same stampmarks as the dual magazine pouch, stamped C.A. Hoffman& Son, Mfrs, Arlington, CAL.
