This lot consists of 3 vintage tape tins. All empty. The first is 4.5 in diameter. The ivory colored top has black writing that states“This box contains ½ pound ¾ inch Black Manson Tape: Manufactured solely by The Okonite Co. 253 Broadway, New York. Superimposed on the top is the“¾” in large numbers(I thought at first these were scratches, but they are not) The bottom is embossed with“Okonite Trademark. The tin has some rust and a scratch marks(see photos) but the lettering is very visible regardless. The next tin is in near mint condition and at one time contained Electric wiring tape. The brilliant yellow, blue and red graphics advertise“Homart Plastic Tape: Our Finest for Electric Wiring” and“free Cutter inside” as well as“self-sealing: replaces both rubber and friction tape: Easier to use…lasting efficient insulation: ¾ ... morein. by 30 ft roll No. 5002. 3/4 inch cassette video tape recorder
This video recorder/player was the broadcast standard in the 1970s. Although it does not work. It is in beautiful condition and is suitable for display such as in a museum or studio, as it is a vintage machine. It has a stand-alone, wood case. It's electronics could be used for parts. Connecting cables included. Since it weighs about 65 pounds, I recommend it be picked up at my residence in Rancho Palos Verdes, if you are in Southern California. This is a vintage working General Electric cassette tape recorder. It includes the electric cord. Ear buds, and two mikes. It also works on 5 C batteries. It is clean and in good shape except someone has scratched a name into it on all sides. It does not show as much as is seen in the second picture but can be seen when looked for. These are the newer 8 pin feeders and they will work on the newer intelligent base machines as well as the older non IQ machines. Including but not limited to QUAD QSV-1/ Plus. QSP-2, QSX-1, C4, C2, 3,QSA, APS-1 and 4000C and 1000. All feeders electronically advance when pick nozzle or your finger interrupts the pickup sensor. All feeders tape advance and rewind when using the black and red switches. All feeders have newer capstan idler rubber and will advance smoothly and without excess noise.
