I built this a few years ago but due to injuries I have rarely played it. The neck is unfinished so it would need to be stained& sealed. Over time the oil from the tuners has seeped into the headstock wood but it should be removable with paint thinner. Turpentine or something similar. The case I'm using for it is not a banjo case but it will work adequately. Ideally extra foam should be added to the inside of the case to better secure the banjo for traveling. The inside of the case is in good condition but the outside is a little rough& the bottom snap needs to be repaired or replaced. I bought this case preowned& someone had previously put a bumper sticker on it so I just left it on.
