Vintage 1970s Martin Blue Thermoplastic Hardshell Acoustic Dread Guitar Case
Here is an original Martin Hardshell case from the early to mid 1970s. The case is in good useable condition. But is not Mint by any means. It has 5 fully working latches. The Martin decal on the outside of the case has been"lost to the ages" The pictures will show the wear on the case, one hinge seems to have lost it's center pin, there is a crack that follows the inside of the top ridge mold and the aluminum frame doesn't seem to perfectly line up around the handle. All this being said, the case still looks and functions great, and should serve it's next owner very well. Up for bid is this lovely Thermoplastic Union Case(sometimes referred to as"Gutta Percha" with an ambrotype photo of a woman holding what appears to be pink. Blue and yellow flowers. These"flowers" are just above her hand. The only flaw I can in the Thermoplastic case is a chip(38" just above the clasp on the picture side. Because we used the flash to capture the picture, it appears to me to show up better in the photo for this listing. It is darker without the flash. The velvet has a small spot(see photo shows up as a white spot in the center) that is missing the purple velvet. The embossed image in the velvet is not very deep. The mat, glass and preserver appears to me to be in good condition. I don't find any dents. The picture measures 2"x2.5" and is considered a Sixteenth-plate. Vintage RARE! GT STS 1000 Thermoplastic Carbon Bike Frame and Shock-18"-LTS
Vintage(circa 1998) GT STS Thermoplastic Bike Frame with Rock Shox Super Deluxe rear shock Comes with seatpost shown in pics. I bought this bike on a whim and just never had the chance to build it the way I wanted. The frame is in great condition(needs some cleaning) But the bushings are likely worn, and the lower shock bolt is broken(looks to be a M8 size bolt, I'll include the or iginal broken bolt) Replacement bushings are still available from several shops. This might be an ideal upgrade for someone that already has and LTS and just swap the parts over.

It is a 1/ 6 plate and the Union Case measures 3 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide. The image is just as interesting. I have been told by experts that i t is an actual A mbrotype. Just more r are than Amber or Ruby A mbrotypes. It appears to be ivory sitting in the case. I did remove it from the case to see the composition. It is clear glass and has a cream colored paper backing. Civil War Era man. Has been hand tinted. Photos show the image both. With the paper backing and without it. Description 1/6th plate tintype of a fine looking young gentleman in a beautiful oval thermoplastic wall frame. Great old label on the back of frame reads: Charles Pearl Wright Killed in second Battle of Bull Run 1862. The tintype itself is in poor condition with a heavily crazed and crackled emulsion that is evenly spread across entire image. The frame is in perfect condition with no detectable flaws. Original tension wire in back to hold the frame packet together. This was recently found at an estate sale in Southern California and unfortunately someone put plastic scotch tape on the back to secure the image in the frame. The tape does go right across the old label and I would rather a professional remove it to avoid as little damage possible to the original backing and lable. There is also some writing on the back of frame packet but I'm ... moreunable to make out any of it except the last word"bible. The frame measures 5 1/4" x 5 3/4" overall. I haven't touched or cleaned anything.this is exactly how I got it. The man in the image does not appear to be in uniform however it is very dark and I can't make out any detail on his outfit. Excellent shape GT STS XCR 100 Thermoplastic frame. Medium size or 17" And I'm 5'9" Comes with Rock Shox SID rear shock, still holds air and it works. Updated rear triangle with disc tabs. I-drive is smooth and works great. Seatpost frame is new and never ridden, although there are shelf wear. Frame is in EXCELLENT shape consider its age and it has very little cable rub, dings and scratches. Mainly just storage wear. No cracks at all. It is missing the lower plastic cap by the BB but you can use tape to cover the hole. GT STS Time to sell one of my prized possessions. GT STS-1 carbon fiber full-suspension mountain bike frame with original Rock Shox rear suspension. The frame is in very good condition. No cracks/splits anywhere on the frame. BB threads are good. Rock Shox rear shock is good. Chainstay shows normal pitting from chain. I have torn down the frame. Inspected and regeased all the bushings. I have polished all of the aluminium areas. I am a loyal GT rider since the early 80's and take care of all my bikes. My intent was to fully restore this frame but I need to complete some of my other projects and as much as I hate to give this one up I am forced to let it go. The necklace& bracelet are signed CORO(not at a slant) And a C for copyright which dates it after 1955. The gold tone setting on both the bracelet and necklace have pink ribbed Lucite thermoplastic which remind me of an open book laying upside down. The bracelet has 5 links with 2 designs on each link. Measures 7" long and closes with a fold over clasp. The necklace has a single row with gold tone and pink rings with a hook closure and measures 16" long. I am not sure if the 2 rings at the end are original. The necklace has light wear to the back side and very light wear to the pink rings. The bracelet has wear to the back side. Normal chipping to some of the gold tone plating on the side and back, and only a few chips to the gold tone plating on the top of the bracelet from being loved and worn. Some people call this gutta percha which is actually a different material. Size is 4.5 by 4.5 by 3.25(height) inches. Made to hold men's collars. CONDITION: Good condition. One nick on the bottom side of the thermoplastic at one corner. Roughness along the edge. Box has stains and dirt. No cracks. Shipping cost includes insurance.

Vintage Jaydon set of 4 matching bowls from their"Haitian Line" thermaoplastic that was made of two layers of opaque plastic fused together to form a hard. Tough plastic shell. The inside is a rust color& the outside a dark brown. The four individual bowls are 6" diameter. Marked on bottom Jaydon Thermo Bowl PAT PEND. Nice vintage condition with just a few light scratches.
