Up for auction is a beautiful Kanstul 750 small-bore tenor trombone. Technically. The Kanstul factory lists this trombone as a student model, but you would never know that from playing it! With it's thin-gauge 8" bell, this small-bore horn delivers a gorgeous sound. It has a free and open blow from bottom to top. It can sound mellow and lyrical when played with warm breath, or bright and sassy when pushed. If you don't sound wonderful playing this horn, then there is something wrong with you; it's THAT good! It pains me to sell this horn. But I am now committed to playing vintage Kings. I bought it new. I don't expect this auction to go as high as what I paid for it new because it is now used and does have some minor play wear associated with it's use. Please see the pics. Selling a used. Working Heath/Heatkit AD-1308 Real Time Spectrum Analyzer. This unit is very versatile and includes adjustments for input attenuation, SPL weighting, SPL response, Display response(peak/hold/average) octave, and display scale. There are also memory settings to do screen captures although I am unsure how to use this feature(so please consider that part untested) Memory" button pad missing but can probably be pushed with a pen. The actual spectrum analyzer is a separate unit that comes out of the chassis and is portable and powered by rechargeable batteries(see pics) Unfortunately, the unit doesn't seem to charge the batteries- not sure if that is the fault of the unit, the chassis, or the batteries themselves, so plan on not being able to use that feature. A mic is included(missing dust cap) but can't be used easily ... morebecause the unit isn't portable without battery power. Mic stores behind chassis door for convenience. Rack ears are included but not mounted. It would be possible to connect this to the output of a mixer or mic preamp and use it for room calibration that way, though. The Left, Right, Left+Right and Left-Right buttons on the left side of the chassis all appear to work fine. Overall, the unit is in fair to good condition and needs a serious cleaning which will be left up to the new owner. I've had this unit for about 10 years, most of the time it has been sitting unused.
