The mouse has a pipe cleaner tail and stands on a thin round wooden base with a little bit of bark around the wood. It is interesting to note that this early version of this design does NOT contain the"1776" date on one side of the drum leading me to believe it could be a prototype piece. This MM-03 Minute Mouse with Large Drum sculpture was retired in 1977. CONDITION: This vintage WFF mouse is in very good condition as shown. There are no chips. It's got a patented offset neck angle that lets you play so effortlessly it isn't even funny. It has a unique cut out for the input hack and an on/off switch to the active electronics built into the cavity cover. Signed and dated on the back of headstock by the creator himself. S-77-21320: The Orbiter 101"Enterprise" separates from the NASA 747 carrier aircraft during the third free flight of the Shuttle Apporach and Landing Tests(ALTs) conducted on September 23. 1977 at Dryden Flight Research Center in Southern California. The vehicle with Astronauts Fred W. Haise, and C. Gordon Fullerton remained in unpowered flight for five minutes and 34 seconds before landing on the desert land of Edwards Air Force Base. The ALT free flights are designed to verify Orbiter subsonic airworthiness, integrated systems operations and pilot-guided approach and landing capability and satisfying prerequisites to automatic flight control and navigation mode. Presumably, it would have been a test market item for this Prince of Egypt" series. Based on the Disney animated feature film of that name. What's interesting about yours is that it appears to be in a Gres or enameled finish; when it actually came out in the retail line. It was done in a regular porcelain glossy finish. See. So. Again, I'd say this is an interesting example of what was probably a test market item. There really isn't an independent market for NAO pre-production pieces like this. And the series itself doesn't really seem to have caught on. Still. It might have curiosity premium for a collector. Last retail price on the regular version was $295. So you can take an approximate from there. Bearing in mind that the market for collectibles is pretty soft in the current economy. And many people find themselves selling at a loss. RARE Vintage Cadillac Prototype Baby Buggy/Carriage/Pram/Stroller from late 40's-early 50's. This is a rare one. Folks. Can't find another one eBay or on the internet anywhere. Had this appraised. And all parts appear to be original and in excellent condition for its age. Original wheels. Springs, body, handle, shade, paint, brake, etc. The appraiser was able to tell me that car companies such as Cadillac and Mercedes made prototype baby carriages during this time period. But due to copywright infringement laws, the logo could not be made"exactly" the same so you will see it is slightly different from the traditional Cadillac logo. I cannot find another example of this on the internet to compare it to. There are no rips or tears in the fabric shade; and the body appears to be made of tin/metal with wood trim under the ... morechrome at the top. Some small spots of rust on the chrome as shown in the pictures that look like they can be removed and some natural yellowing of the wheels and handle. There is a smudge of the paint on one side; shown in the picture. The inside of the carriage is white and clean throughout. The springs are still very bouncy. No obvious dents or major dings. In excellent condition for its age. This would make a classy addition to your doll collection or to add some vintage"pizazz" to a room. See pics for details. If you have any questions. Mosrite Bluesbender 500- Early 1971 USA PreKustom Factory Prototype 1 of a Kind
Fantastic rare guitar from the tail-end of Mosrite's heyday. A little history for this one: Semie Moseley. The founder and creator of Mosrite guitars was historically a terrible businessman. After declaring bankruptcy for Mosrite guitars in 1968, Semie found himself without a shop in 1969. Before losing his shop Semie prototyped a few new models including the 500 Blues Bender, which was his most adventurous and high-end model. From 1969 until late 1971 when Semie partnered with Kustom to open his new factory, guitars built by Semie were few and far between and are exceedingly rare today compared with most other Mosrite USA guitars. This guitar is one of the earliest incarnations of the Bluesbender 500 and differs subtly from the Kustom Factory produced ones that are found more often today. Though still incredibly rare as the 500 was the ... moremost expensive model offered by the company. This guitar has some unique traits that the factory production-line models did not have- one reason being that this is still technically a prototype(it isn't serialized on the fretboard like factory models) the other reason being that materials such as production-cast knobs were scarce. It features the unique upright L-tailpiece and traditional Mosrite bridge. Both which stuck around for the production version. The headstock decal is not that of the Kustom-era Mosrites where"By Semie Moseley" was added and instead has the original"of California" decal and spacing of the guitars from the late 1960s. The tuners are the original late-1960s styles that were found on models like the celebrity, not the Grovers that Kustom had put on the production line models. The pickguard is mirrored and not the production-line tortoise shell version and also has a slightly lower contour than that of the production models. Production-line 500s originally had silver knobs with a dash similar to 60s amplifiers without a logo and later had typical"M" knobs once production was in full swing- however, this guitar has its ori

Fischer 64th Av. N.Y. Sole Agent U. States. The serial number of 41730 dates this horn to 1888. Above the serial number it says F. Besson* Brevette. One valve at the very top has a wear mark that is 3/4 of an inch long and a quarter of an inch wide. The other valves are in very good condition with no wear marks. There are no dings or dents. There are two wear marks. One on the bell and one on the front slide. Please see pictures. Historic Rare Vintage Electric Fender Precision Bass Guitar 1954 Prototype relic
This is a(factory) modified early 1954 Fender Precision Bass and case. A well known east-coast vintage guitar dealer purchased this bass from the estate of a Roger Binette. Who worked in the recording industry and who knew Tavares as a friend. As the story goes, Binette purchased the bass from Tavares as a memento and Tavares told him that the bass had been at the fender factory was used for testing new colors. Unfortunately there is no documentation signed by Tavares to firmly establish provenance. The bass’ neck bears the date of 2/54 and the bridge plate the number 0840. It is of interest that this bass was noted in the 1996 edition of the famous James Werner- Fender Serial Number List. It could be assumed that Binette sent the information. The instrument itself bears unusual features: an odd squared-off lower cutaway. Thin Lucite pickguard ... morepainted white underneath and made to appear more like a Stratocaster(and closer to the 1957 version of the Fender bass) and finally, an attempt at contouring the body. The neck features a mid-1960“Precision Bass” decal. The body is very worn revealing a succession of finish colors including Lake Placid Blue, Shoreline Gold and Dakota Red. Anyone familiar with the history of Fender guitars can surmise that there is more to this story. Freddie Tavares was hired by Leo Fender in 1953 and was asked to assist in designing the company’s new"Stratocaster" guitar. A follow-up to the"Telecaster" It stands to reason that the company would want their"Precision Bass" to complement the new model and alter its appearance to better match. To accomplish this, Tavares used this bass to redesign the pickguard(making it appear more Strat-like) and experiment with body contours. In taking this theory further– Fender probably postponed the bass redesign when the Stratocaster experienced initial production problems; so in the mean time this bass sat around the factory and was subjected to special paint jobs until it was retired to Tavares’ use. British Olive Green PLCE Entrenching Tool Pouch Trials Prototype Version Grade 1
This is a scarce first pattern experimental trials version of the British Army PLCE entrenching tool pouch for the current issue trifold entrenching tool as used by many NATO armies. This is the early rare olive green version. Very popular with bushcraft enthusiasts. These were trialled at the ITDU(Infantry Trials and Development Unit) at the School Of Infantry in Warminster. These have early 1980s dates. In my opinion these are better than the type adopted. As they can be worn high or low on a belt, like the SAS drop pouches and they don't have the brittle fastex clips prone to damage. It can either hold the tool on its own or inside the rubber cover. See photos. You are buying ONE PLCE nylon pouch only as in the first picture. The second picture is for information only. The pouches are in grade one good used condition they have been ... morelightly used and may have trials numbers on them. But they are sound and fit for use. The photo shows the condition of average examples. Very hard to find in this colour. Will fit onto a belt or bergen. Great for the webbing collector or for use. Very limited stock. Circa 1959, representing the first ever electronic organ prototypes. This is a massive amount of info to try to give to you, so here goes. First the overall story. This is a group of 3 original prototype pieces of artwork from Japan and the Yamaha Music Co. Also included is correspondence between two American partners who were trying to obtain the sales rights to the yet uncompleted organs. Mainly in the Los Angeles, California region. There is also correspondence between Yamaha officials and the partners. Describing where they(Yamaha) were in the design process and actually asking for input and suggestions on types of materials to use for reeds, key of organs, ... moreetc. fascinating! The reason why the company sent 3 designs was for the partners to select one for production! The names of the 3 organs are written on drawings and are No.3 D. No. 3 G and No. 3 B. The artwork. The images are mounted on artboards approx. 17" x 11" These are beautifully done pieces of design art and they are more than drawings. Each organ drawing is made up of individual pieces of painted paper. Layered together to make a mosaic image. For example, the keys, buttons, cabinets, legs, music racks are all on seperate pieces of paper. The artwork is overlayed with now yellowed vellum or rice paper which has protected the images very well. The one overlay I photographed has a notation from Yamaha noting that the music rack needs to be redesigned because it is"too feeble" The overall condition of actual artwork is excellent. You will find some cosmetic blems on mount boards and perhaps a smudge or stain here& there. But overall, stunning. The Football Association returned to Umbro for its shirts in 1984 after a brief stint with Admiral. I have been informed by football shirt collectors that due to the black and gold tag in this shirt. This is an Umbro prototype shirt. This shirt features a number of stylistic traits from the 1986 World Cup shirt and some features from the 1984-1985 designs Umbro introduced when first making kits for England again. This is super rare and an unearthed gem in almost mint/unworn condition. This is a RARE. COPELAND TALL CUP, decorated with a beautiful Jasper Ware Fox Hunting Scene, in a stunning, VERY Dark Blue. YOU NEED TO USE THE MAGNIFIER FEATURE ON THE IMAGE TO GET THE TRUE DETAIL. It measures 4 1/8" in height, 3 1/8" wide at the rim, and 2 1/8" at the base. Impressed COPELAND, ENGLAND, separately. The COPELAND is impressed under the glaze from the Jasper Ware, and the ENGLAND is impressed in the glaze. Can't get an image. It has two small hair lines off the rim(pic#10) you can't see the second one, it's very faint. NEITHER of them affect the sweet blue ground on the front. Also, it is a VERY DARK BLUE GROUND. Most of the images are done with flash to get detail so it appears lighter than it actually is. The darker three images more represent the actual color. HERE'S THE THING. The cup has ... morewhat looks like damage(pic#11) in the pottery under the blue ground above the tree. It IS NOT A REPAIR. The beautiful blue ground was definitely applied as a whole, over the defect by the maker. The blue flows evenly over the"defect" The sweet Fox Hunting scene is VERY detailed and was applied over the ground. You following me? I believe that the blank from the factory was somehow damaged after the throwing process, and it appears to be hand throw(pic#12) Then it went into the kiln. The defect was either caught before and hastily"repaired" or it was"repaired" in the factory before the decorative process began. I believe it went into the kiln with the defect. 1- I DO NOT think the Copeland factory would let a"badly" damaged blank go out for decoration. I think it was hand to throw and had to go to decoration, and was supposed to be destroyed. 2- It is fully marked, and covered in that gorgeous dark blue uniformly over the defect, looks like factory to me. 3- The DETAIL in the Jasper Ware scene, OVER the blue ground, is UNBELIEVABLE! This Apollo Astronaut prototype designed by Daniel Carr was considered by the US Mint and Congress as a possible design. RARE Creek Chub Snook Pikie with Prototype Side Screw Hook Hangers
Very RARE Creek Chub Snook Pikie with Prototype or Transitional Side Screw Hook hanger mount. This was a transitional hook hanger arrangement before the familiar wire-thru rigging was adopted. The belly hooks are suspended on a swivel assembly and actually rotate 360 degrees held in place by screws through the side of the lure. Body length is 5" and is in Pike Scale Finish Lure has some pointers and light general wear and both eyes have cracks but are intact. Paint is bright and shiny and in good shape and lure displays pretty well from either side. This is a pretty tough lure to find and would be a fine addition to any collection. This is a photo album/ scrapbook put together by CPO Fooks and covers the 1928 voyage made by the HMS Amazon to South America. There are daily entries from April 10 to August 14. 1928. The book has many photos of the ship, postcards, newspaper clippings, artwork, letters, entertainment programs and much more. The scrapbook is made from a period Naval Rangefinder Logbook and has 49 pages of material. A note is included regarding Fooks' service record. The HMS Amazon was a prototype Destroyer that later became the basis of the Tribal class Destroyers. She was fitted out in WW2 as a convoy escort with many munitions and participated in the sinking of German U-boat U-50 off the Norwegian coast. 1995 G&L Asat Deluxe Three Bolt Neck w/HSC / Prototype Guitar?
This guitar is either a prototype for the Asat Deluxe model or an Employee built piece. It was built one year before production began for the Asat Deluxe model. The guitar is loaded with interesting features. The pickups are the same Gotoh built humbuckers that G&L used in the Climax model. The body has a belly cut on the back side. The pickups are controlled via three mini-toggle switches which give the guitar a lot of tone options! The neck is larger than most G&L necks built during the mid 90's. The frets have minimal wear and have plenty of life left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod works properly. The tuning keys are non locking Sperzels. The control cavity plate is metal with a black crinkle finish. Production Asat Deluxe's have plastic control covers. The color is blue-burst.
