This chair is one of a handful of prototypes produced by the Niedermaier company that eventually was mass produced and became what is known as the" Un" Chair today. Since it is an actual prototype chair. It is one of a kind. The arms and legs are black lacquer. The seat and back are soft yellow leather. The chair was a gift from the Interior Architecture program of the School of the Art Institute for the student who graduated first in the program in 2001. SquareTrade © AP6.0 This Pan American. Elkhart, Indiana alto saxophone appears to be a Conn prototype. Stamped with the model number 58M. Serial number 651XX places the date of manufacture c.1955. Has many of the features of a 6M but without the rolled tone holes. Rich full round tone on the bottom, free blowing open sound. Pretty high register. The neck is original to this 58M. All original rollers and pearls. There is a lot of wear to the plating, maybe 50% intact. Almost all plating worn off the neck. The saxophone is in mechanically good condition. A guard post was resoldered as well as the neck key post. No evidence of any key marks or bad previous repairs. A combination of old and newer pads. The horn is in excellent playing condition. I have one other rotary block I am going to try to make a flugel out of, because it is a.416 bore.but THIS block is a.433 bore and is much more suited to a piccolo trumpet build. This thing was bought by the Calicchio family years ago in a play to develop a rotary piccolo horn. It apparently was not something Dominick favored, because it was put aside and sold with the company in 2000. John Duda had no interest in it, so he sold it to me. I could never rake up the spare parts for it, so I shelved it for the last 4-5 years. But it is a Rotax, still used by the Willson Co. of Switzerland, so it is a viable ... morepiece. But in a Prototype box for the Skreddy Screwdriver. All the labels are for the screwdriver. But all the internals are a Mayo- arguably the best Muff clone/variant Skreddy ever put out. No longer in production and really hard to find. It has the ultra-desirable 2N5133 button-top transistors(same as FS36999) that are used in the best Triangle and Ram's Head Muffs. It sounds so great- HUGE bottom end. With the mids-switch. It is very balanced and is useful to cut through a mix. The pedal itself is pretty beat up- lots of scuffs. Missing paint, nicks etc. Just like in a Screwdriver. There are holes in the side(used for adjusting trimpots) There are no trimpots ... moreon this pedal though. Adams of West Haven Ct. back in the late 80's, with shearling monogramed suede leather case, in absolute pristine condition~ never got wet ~ never went fishing ~ never saw a rod! It is one of the finest machined bar stock aluminum fly reels, with perforated bakelite side plates, 3" diameter, the spool 1" deep and 1" wide. The frame of the reel has three pillars, just like a Zwarg, Vom Hofe. The machining is so fine that there are no machine marks. It has a permanent adjustable click drag that is either left hand wind or right hand wind. There is a zonolite crank handle with counter-balancing weight and an"S" shaped handle, just like a Bogdan, or Walker, or Zwarg or Vom hofe. Here we have a prototype board that came with some military surplus. The board is all hand wired onto a Veroboard. The main component is a Motorola MC14680SE2P with a 1983 date code. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This listing is for an Single Pickup Ibanez Guitar with an ultra rare"prototype" body that appears to have never gone into actual production. This single-pickup/single volume knob guitar is based on the very rare dual humbucking Ibanez 580T Turbot of the late 80's(which is the time period that I estimate this guitar dates from) And appears to be a single-pickup/single volume knob"experiment" based on the hugely popular single pickup/single volume knob Charvel and Kramer guitars from the same period, for which we can all thank Eddie Van Halen. As per the 580T Turbot, the color is"Green Apple" or a variant thereof. Unlike the 580T double pickup Turbots. Which supposedly had mahogany bodies, the body on this guitar appears to be basswood(see neck pocket in photo 7) I believe this was a"factory ... moreassembled" guitar(and not an"employee guitar" assembled from parts that were lying around for a period of time) That was put together SOON AFTER finishing the body, as the neck was SO difficult to remove I thought it was glued in(I was looking for markings in the neck pocket) Having a neck so difficult to remove indicates that the neck and body were assembled together BEFORE the body paint totally cured, where the recent neck removal resulted in the finish issue in photo 8, as well as finish removal from the side of the neck pocket. This"factory assembled" scenario is different from that of an"employee guitar" assembled from old leftover parts, as the paint of parts lying around for a period of time would be well-cured by the time the employee assembled the guitar for himself, resulting where the neck and body would not stick to each other in such a guitar assembled from"leftover" parts. And where the finish issue per photo 8 would not have occurred. Parker Fly original hand made prototype 1985
Parker Fly prototype 1985 An important instrument in electric guitar history. This guitar was hand carved by Ken Parker back in 1985. Eight years before they went into factory production. A testament to Ken Parker's workmanship. The neck is still perfectly straight after 28 years, a great player. Lightweight, resonant and very comfortable to play As you can see. The layout of this Fly is quite different to the production models. Different bridge& pickups etc. the frets are normal, rather than the glued on later style. The fibreglass/epoxy coating is apparent on the neck where you can see the grain of the fibreglass. Condition of the guitar is quite good for it's age. There are a few bumps and blemishes that you can see in the pics, but the guitar has had minimal use so there's almost zero fret wear. The carving of the body ... moreis also different. With much deeper carve-outs on the back and upper and lower horns. The bridge with piezo inserts. Which looks to me like an old'Stars Guitars' bridge, was probably modified by Larry Fishman, but I can't be sure on that. The piezos weren't connected when I aquired it, but there's six little wires dangling underneath) Unfortunately. The magnetic pickups failed after a few years, and on closer inspection I found they were unbranded strat pickups that had been chopped down to fit into the narrow pickup routs. There's quite a few pickups available now that will fit. Duncan SSL-5's would fit for example, but pickup choice will depend on player's preference Also included with the guitar are three full-scale prototype drawing prints copyright 1985 Ken Parker. Hi. You're looking at a Catalinbread Dirty Little Secret Mark II overdrive pedal. This is a prototype version of the MkIII"Super Lead" pedal. And has an additional control over the standard MkII, giving you a 3 band EQ(Treble, Middle, Bass) in place of the standard pedal's Presence and Fullness controls. The pedal is voiced with more gain than the standard MkII, and is designed primarily for guitars with humbuckers. I used it with a PRS, for instance, and it sounds HUGE. Pants are medium regular and treated with"insect shield" which I believe was omitted from the final production run. This cornet was handed down to my late husband. But he never took it out of the case. I don't know anything about brass instruments& all I can do is describe the way it looks. I think it is silver plated& this has worn off the 3 buttons; the silver plate is tarnished; the 10 button is staying in whilst the other 2 go in& out easily. There are quite a few dents in this cornet to say the least. However the engraving is beautiful: Class A.50 Medals Of Honour,BESSON& CO, Prototype" 198 Euston Road, London, England. I have owned this CC St. Petersburg since before the production models were available. The Tuba Exchange offered the prototype units for sale as the production units were beginning production. I played about 15 of these models at the store and found this particular one to be far superior to any of the others available at the time. I've played production units since then and I feel this one has superior playing characteristics to those. The horn has some minor dents and blemishes on it. Including joints that were unsoldered and resoldered as part of the prototype design process. The intonation across the full range is good and response is clean at any volume. If you are looking for a good intermediate to professional tuba good for use in small or large ensembles, then this is the horn for you. This is a beautiful Michael Jordan engraved or etched Silver Collection gold and silver coin or medallion from the late 1990s. Manufacturer unknown. The diameter of the medallion itself is 1 3/4 inches. It appears to be solid silver with gold plating but I can't be sure. It is permanently set in a glass or lucite base that is one inch thick. The total weight of the medallion and base is 7.4 ounces, not counting a glossy beige gift box that has SILVER COLLECTION embossed on the top. This was obtained from a former Upper Deck Authenticated employee who worked there in the late 1990s and may be a one of a kind prototype or sample.
