PROTOTYPE COCA COLA can shaped like bottle COKE for TV commercial prop
This is a true collectible for any COCA COLA collector! I think it was 1997 and I was commissioned to build a series of cans/bottles for a TV COMMERCIAL that COKE was using to promote a new style of can. I built a set of 8 bottles that morphed into the new can shape on screen. It was quite a fun project that was on the cusp of computer graphics technology. This would be all CG today and a true model like this would not be needed for filming. The commercial aired on Spanish television I know and Coke ran the new shape in a test market. Texas I think. The new shape didn't go over so well and the project was' canned' Haha, I love saying that! Anyways. I have 3 of the cans used for the build for the commercial. The HERO can( on left) is very beautiful and has a polished chrome like rim. The graphics are a clear plastic wrap that hug ... morethe can shape and has liquid. It also has no UPC or any other text on it besides the trademark Coca-Cola as it was used by an actor. The PROTOTYPE can( in middle) is a prototype version of what the final can would look like with all text and graphics. The can also has liquid in it. The BLANK can( on right) has no text at all and is empty with a small drain hole in the bottom. The auction is for the 3 cans in the photo. The series of 8 cans in the photo are in some Coca-Cola warehouse now I assume. The last photo is for reference and is to show part of the mold process I used creating the set of 8. You can see a Batsuit Glove from BATMAN and ROBIN in the picture also. I created the movie props for a series of the BATMAN films also. The glove is not included! I think you get it. I picked up these two ATARI-branded 9-pin Male-to-Male cables in the 1990s. But never found out what they are used for. They measure 11.75" and 12.25" long. My best guess is that they are used with some Atari Computer/Video Game, or are possibly prototype-related. These are the only two I have ever seen in ~20 years.

For sale is a working Seiko G321E LCD display module. The LCD is attached by a connector to another PCB that contains some electronics including main processor. EL backlit module, etc. The backlit turns on very brite! and the module even has a pot to adjust the LCD contrast! The entire module powers on from 9v applied to a red and black wire from one of the connectors(I'll label the wires so its easy to turn on later) The G321 can be removed easily by removing 3 screws around the display(one missing screw) This display costs around $80 new by itself: no EL driver. It may be a prototype because on top inside it reads"Electric Fence Control Patent Pending" and under that 5982-85. Under that it reads Leitner Electric Co. Dalton Ohio. This unit has a steel base with four rubber feet on bottom. Top has a yellow bulb and blue bulb with red and blue transformers and what looks like red and blue capacitors. Around the top are red white and blue stripes with stars. I plugged the unit in and a yellow light goes on and off. I could read 150 surge output on the ground lug and wire with clip that is covered with rubber insulation. Excellent look to this. They used a mason type jar for the upper half which would enclose the unit. The wires are original. They are a cloth type material ... morewhich are in very nice condition. Stand 9.5" tall, bottom base is 5.5" I would say that the bottom was repainted but all else looks original. Pay Pal gladly accepted. Type 30 Japanese WWII Rifle Bayonet prototype model
antique original world war two WW2 earliest production example- no Arsenal mark on the blade' M' stamped on the pommel a pre-production prototype model with a four digit serial number on the cross guard and a large letter'M' stamped on the pommel- these are said to be the very first. Of the production type 30 bayonet, very scarce you just wont find one of these at the local gun show. The scarcest variation of all type 30 bayonets. and one of the KEY bayonets of any collection decent over all condition. The blued blade shows use.and there are some slight old rust marks near the front of the blade, the hilt shows just minor wear.no pitting the wooden grips have a few dings. But were never sanded down or messed with- i doubt that you will find one of these prototype bayonets in better condition- if you ever find one again.in ... moreany condition} the sheath is clean and smooth-no dents at all. the ball at the tip of the sheath has been slightly flattened- on either side. i'll bet it was made this way} one of the hardest Japanese bayonets find- don't pass it up! a must have for all advanced bayonet collections!

An aysmetrical quad des ign as opposed to the traditional hex with many un usual rod buil ding elements unique to this very gifted maker. This is an extremely powerful 9 ft. Two piece. Two tip, split cane rod. I am an average caster at best but distances of 100' + are not difficult with this rod an d a basic bonef ish line and would be unbelievable with a shooting head. Mr. M ontagne was way ahead of his time as a rod builder. This one is a 9' prototype from his Masters 8 series- serial number 3280 as etched into the cap of rod tube as well. He was one of the very first to utilize computer programs to aid in his rod des igns which ultimately result ed in his rectangular quad s. Unique tip tops are also wrapped red with single and double black tipping wraps to denote tip one from tip two- see picture. Two mildrum style stripper guides on butt section with first snake guide mounted on the top of the female ferrule( another character istic unique to Montagne) Relatively s hort. 6 1/4 inch long cork handle is in excellent condition. Rod is inked in black: M. Montagne on t op side and; Prototype 9' M asters 8 3280 on the opposite- see pictures. Original signed sock and tube- a classic Montagne trait with the blue sock material of s ign ature sock. Unfortunately the collar on the tube has split and is held together with a rubber band. Its design was the result of a collaboration by renowned rod designers Tom Maxwell and Marc Aroner at the H.L.Leonard Rod Co. during the years 1977-1979, and the rod was built by Tom Maxwell in 1980. Both of these rod designers went on after the Leonard shop closed in 1984 to independently establish their own independent rod making shops. Maxwell rods now exist in limited numbers; and Aroner rods are available with waiting times of 1/2 year and more, and both are highly sought after by fly fishermen and collectors. Inspiration for building this two wheeled crawler was my exposure to the large tunnel networks in and around Cu Chi in Vietnam. Tunnel diggers used similar devices to move back and forth in some very small diameter underground holes. One of the photos shows how the device is positioned and a swimmer would normally wear heavy duty gloves to pull forward on the pool deck or gym floor. If you purchase this device. British Prototype Bayonet for Martini Rifles, c. 1880 from WW Greener Collection
Here is a unique item from the collection of the English rifle maker W.W. Greener Co. It's an experimental bayonet. Designed to fit the Martini rifle. It has been tested on the Martini and it does fit. The blade measures approximately 21" long and is a cruciform style, or 4-sided. The label attached dates it as being from 1880. It doesn't say it was made by Greener, only that it came from the Greener collection. No missing pieces, cracks or any other damage other than rust. Nice piece for the unusual militaria collector! Vintage MARMOT GORE-TEX 3-person PROTOTYPE tent, Garuda, MSR, North Face. Moss
Vintage Marmot Mountain Works Gore-Tex Tent. This auction includes a Marmot tent manufactured in Grand Junction, Colorado in the 1980s. The Marmot single wall tents were famous as some of the lightest. Strongest, 4-season tents ever made. I have always marveled at how simple yet so functional they were. Combine the technical features with Marmot’s hand crafted build quality-they were unmatched. The fabric used in the tents was revolutionary. The water-proof breathable Gore-Tex fabric was made using Dacron Adventure Cloth. Unlike nylon it does not elongate or sag in heavy rains. The Dacron would not break down like nylon from prolonged exposure to sun light. The purchaser did have to seam seal the tent and each tent came with a tube of seam sealer. The Gore-Tex fabric for these tents was very specialized and very expensive. Marmot was the only company using the fabric. The tent was basically a larger version of the TAKU. Large enough for three. I have used this tent and it does show normal use. There are dirt stains on the floor. There is a 2 inch by 2 inch patch on the floor(see photo) and the patch has been seam sealed. It was always my favorite tent when there were three people in the group. There is room for three and most of the gear. The total weight is 6 lbs. 12 oz.
