Union Pins Misc Lot of 3 1939 - 1961 Building Trades, Carpenter, Packing
This auction is for 3 vintage union pins. The first one is a 1939 A.F. of L. Youngstown Building Trades pin for July. August and September. On the back, I can make out"Union Made" and"Rochester, NY" The second pin says"Omnia Vincit Labor" and has a wood plane in the center. I believe this is from the Carpenters and Joiners Union. Both the screwback and the pin itself have J W and U and the number 27 on them. The pin itself also says"Gold" But I have no idea if that means it is actually gold. I have not had it tested. The third pin is for the United Packinghouse Workers of America. It is dated 1961. And the face had a lot of discoloration.

Looks to have been made from an old packing crate(see photo of the bottom which says Imported Candied Citron Broken) with those box dovetails you see on ammo boxes, New paint. Distressed and waxed. Whoever painted it went over the inside edge of the door- you can paint or sand off so it looks a bit neater. Can either hang or sit on a counter. Table, or is high enough to be used as a side table with storage inside, No issues. Other than what looks to have been a crack on the back panel, filled in and painted over, so secure. RECYCLED - 25 White Foam Packing Sheets 3 ft x 6 ft Cushioning Wrap for Shipping
These RECYCLED soft foam sheets have been recycled from a data center and were used once to wrap new servers. Each sheet is at least 3 feet by 6 feet. My guess is that it is 1/16" thick. Some sheets have some small imperfections(where I removed tape and it tore slightly) and I usually cut those pieces larger. I used scissors to cut these good pieces out of a giant piece. So my lines are not machine cut. Most are very clean. There may be a few boot marks within all of the sheets. Thanks for looking!
