The date on the seal looks to be 1923. Seal measures 8 1/2" tall to top of handle& 6 1/4" long. It is fairly large compared to the other seals I have. Weighs 4 lbs. 15 ounces. Very cool piece of memorabilia. Obviously the seal is old so it looks that way. There is normal wear& tear i.e. paint chips& slight rust. Shipped Priority Mail.

Vintage "Pocket Seal" Embossing Seal Stamp Schilling Oil Company Corporate Seal
Up for sale is a vintage embossing seal for the Schilling Oil Company in Hastings Nebraska. The embossing seal would have been used to emboss important company documents. It works much like the seals the notaries carry. It is in good working condition, has some minor wear and tear, and could use a good cleaning. There is tape residue on the handle, and some small spots of corrosion or rust in 3 places that I can tell, but is otherwise good condition. Condition is good overall with expected wear and age related issues. Obvious brass tarnishing on the back– front has been polished but could still use some more. There is some minor denting and rippling of the brass on the edges along with bending– possible it could be flattened out somewhat.
