STOP and LID OPEN buttons work. We were able to adjust the speed setting from 10 to 120 while the unit was not in motion. SPEED CANNOT BE ADJUSTED WHILE CENTRIFUGE IS IN SPIN CYCLE. We set the speed at 5600RPM and the centrifuge spun at 5600RPM for 10 minutes without any problems. We ran another test and set the speed at 12kRPM. Speed reached 5600RPM at 57 seconds and maintained its speed for another 30 seconds before the centrifuge stopped spinning and displayed ER8(ERROR 8) For our last test. We set the speed at 5700RPM and the results were the same as the 12kRPM test. We do not have the necessary resources to further test this unit. Power cable is included.
