I am selling a Unisol Volumatic Cellulose/Fiberglass/Rockwool blowing machine. It is a large blower holds about 12 large bags of cellulose in the hopper. Great machine never had any issues. Air lock seals were replaced about 4 months ago just before it was taken out of service. Will blow about 200 25lb bags of cellulose an hour or about 400 of the little bags you get at home depot. You can insulate most attics in 20-30 minutes. Machine runs smooth and has a nice steady flow. Unit is self contained and has a 18hp kohler motor in it. This is a used Unisul Poly-Spray(tm) insulation blower. It operates on 240 volt electrical power. Also included is a 2HP motor and pump for injecting adhesive into the mix if you want to spray on fireproofing or surfacing insulation. Hose and gun are not included. This unit has not been used in 10 years. And got limited use while we owned it. We are no longer in this business and simply clearing out some old equipment. This is a US Fiber Insulation Blower The tornado is fully operational but due to a bad storage area the hopper needs to be rewired and needs bearing/motor work. This was a very good blower up until being stored after my injury. I can no longer do this type of work anymore so I am auctioning this off! This is a tornado blower that really pushes some serious air for it's size. Folks use other styles from this same company for dust collection on woodworking equipment. Cellulose insulation blowing, even for floors or leaves. It has tabs on the outlet to attach implements and includes the screen over the intake. This same powerhead model is still being manufactured and is used on big industrial wet/dry and other vacuums and blowers. It is 120VAC 15Amps. So it has a lot of power. With 50(approx) foot cord. These powerheads are also used as insulation blowers and dust collection systems. The air flow that cools the motor is independent of the vacuum air. So the head stays cool even with the vacuum blocked. The blower on this is all metal. Very sturdy and in good shape. The bottom of the powerhead is the suction side. It has a bayonet twist lock mount on the intake. The blower outlet is on the side. It also has a bayonet twist lock mount. The mounts are different sizes. I am including the outlet nozzle bayonet connector which could be used to attach a filter bag or hose ... morefor blowing. I am also including the intake bayonet mounting plate and the inside the vacuum swirl venturii intake assembly with mesh screen. You could use a 55 gallon drum with lid and attach the head mount to the lid and the hose fitting to the side to make your own huge shop vac! Also included is the quick disconnect right-angle through fitting for attaching a vacuum hose. This is what makes the debris swirl as it goes inside the vacuum tank. Parts would be available from the current manufacurer. I have seen these sell for up to $450 on ebay. This one is well used so I don't think I can get that much for it. But this one has valuable accessories those didn't. It was surplus from a school system maintainence department so it haves some dings and scratches. Krendl 1000, 550 Insulation Blower Machine Cellulose Fiberglass Nu Wool Recycle
You are looking at a good used Krendl 1000 Fiberglass and Cellulose Insulation blowing machine. I have owned this for 5 years. And bought it from a local guy that owned it for 10 years before that. Always well maintained. Please keep in mind. This is not the same blower you will find at Lowe's, Home Depot or Menards. This is a contractor grade HEAVY machine. It weighs approximately 900 lbs. There is nothing skimped on these machines. It is equipped with 2- 3 stage blowers capable of 3 psi. They are also variable speed to adjust to varying blowing conditions. It is setup to operate off of a 240v Plug. Or it can be run off of 2 separate 120V plug in house hold circuits.This provides the greatest flexibility and convenience. It features a 12"x12" air lock. The seals have less than 1000 bags ran through them. I can usually get 30000-60000 ... morebags through a set of seals. Depends on the quality of material. Now for the best part about this machine- It is also set up to run like Krendl's 550 Recycle Machine! It is 2 machines set up in 1 Simply turn off the blowers. Connect a hose from another machine to the inlet, open the ball valve and begin wall spraying cellulose like the big rigs do! When I used it. I made a box wrapped with screen and attached a hose from my gas powered vacuum to feed directly back to this recycle machine. It worked very well and I could wall spray cellulose just as efficiently as with a full size rig, but still have the flexibility of a small machine. I had a dolly made underneath the machine to roll it around. The factory casters raised it up about 6" The dolly I made only raised it about 2" If needed. The outside of the machine has a few scratches but nothing major. I purchased this blower new 3 years ago. Directly from the Meyer Company. It has only been used for one project.
