This is a Dillon Dynamometer industrial pull scale. It has a 10.000 pound capacity in 100 pound divisions. It is serial# AN46853 and it has a sticker saying it was last calibrated in 1977(see photo#9) It was made in Van Nuys, Calif. by W.C. Dillon& Co. Inc. It is in excellent condition for its age, the face has no cracks and the chrome finish only has minor scratchs. It comes in an original metal carry case. It measures approx. 8" across shackles and the round face is approx. 5-3/4" diameter. Its heavy the scale plus case weighs just over 13 pounds.

This auction includes one Dillon ED-2000-5 Radio Load Dynamometer(Scale) and one Dillon HR-2000 Remote Display/Control. Pictures show exact items winning bidder receives and both units include OEM supplied padded plastic storage boxes. Original User's manual included. See picture. The scale is rated at 10.000 pounds and reads in 2 lb. increments. I purchased this unit new for use on a couple of different machines when I had to weigh unknown loads. The shackles were included by Dillon and are Crosby brand. The original paperwork noted that they were NOT to be substituted and have never been removed. Depending on need, I could install scale above the hook or below using other hardware to attach to shackles. Total time on both units(they were always used together) is estimated at less than 25 hours. The only problem I ever had was a broken ... morebattery wire on scale that was repaired under warranty, shortly after units were new. They checked calibration as part of their repair procedure and I remember being told the unit was within.67 pounds at the 10,000# rated capacity. While not accurate for"trade" selling things by weight) it is pretty darned accurate! Note that the cap that screws over the antenna port on scale is disconnected from it's little chain, see picture. I just left it in the box while using unit. The units have been on the shelf so I installed new 9v batteries in each and switched them on. Both units powered up and read correctly with one another; I pushed the"test" button(one picture shows 132# on each display, this was taken during test cycle) and they cycled through the display test properly; I applied approximately 150# tension to the dynamometer and both units read the same from approximately 150' apart. Since I don't have cranes anymore I have no real way to test further; items are therefore sold AS IS WHERE IS WITHOUT WARRANTY AND NO RETURNS. See pictures.
