You are bidding on an early cupboard. Cabinet, or door twist latch lock. It is made out of brass. It is quite heavy. It measures about 2 7/8" x 2 1/2" and 2 1/2" high(from top of twist handle to where it would sit flush with door) It is in very good working condition. I see no makers names. I dont have the catch for this latch. This latch has a nice looking old patina. I am not sure of the age of this latch. This latch is in very good condition. These were cabinet doors in a local Clerk of the Courts office on the Northern Neck of Virginia. They were removed some time ago during a renovation. This is one of three sets. The owner said that it is originally from New Mexico. The doors have beveled glass with the exception of 4 glass pieces that are missing and 6 that were replaced with non beveled glass. 1956 US Post Office combination lock doors
These 4 post office doors are stamped Federal Equipment Co 1956. They measure 5" high x 3 5/8" wide and are in good condition. The locks do not have dust covers. But work and the combinations will be provided. The windows are in good condition with the original four color number decals. They will need cleaning.

This is a solid oak cabinet with a lockable compartment/shelf for liquor or personal items. It has a vintage original solid brass lock with two keys. The lower shelves have sliding glass doors, two on the middle shelf and one on the lower shelf. This is in very good condition. It is ready to be put to use.

Vintage ornate Victorian door hardware floor bolt lock for 2 doors
This ornate Victorian floor bolt was designed to secure a pair of double doors at the bottom. A corresponding piece of hardware with a pull chain would have secured the doors at the top. This bolt is 5- 7/8" long. 2 inches wide, and 3/4" thick(1- 1/8" from the back to the front tip of the top plate) To engage the bolt, you step on the top plate. To release it, you kick the button with your toe. A fair amount of the original black finish remains. Where the finish is gone. There is some rust. The mechanism is in good working order, and the spring is strong. There would have been a metal plate mortised into the floor with a rectangular hole to receive the bolt. We do not have that part. This bolt has a nicely detailed and fairly high relief floral pattern. If you have any questions. Please ask.
