1978 Honda CB750k project, 2 engines,vetter fairing
1978 CB750 rolling frame with clear Pennsylvania title.And original ignition key.All items included in this auction are very used,dirty,scratched,or rusty, and should be considered in need of cleaning/restoration.Having said that, you get 2 engines,a Vetter Windjammer fairing and trunk, air cleaner box, front turn signals,an extra rear wheel, and side covers that are in bad shape.One engine is a runner that i have set up on a skid,with the oil tank and a good 1 year old battery(that was $48)The valves are adjusted and the points set. There are no coils or carbs now as i sold them,but when i had them on it started easy cold or hot, and idled nicely.I have a short video of it running that i posted on youtube. just type in the"78 CB 750 Engine Ebay Item 151384699662" to find it. The other engine is locked up due to sitting in a basement ... morefor years with no spark plugs.The fairing does not have any cracks,but is dirty and the metal parts have rust.The trunk has no lock.The guage cluster and front brake system are on the bike,and the brake works but feels spongy,The gas tank has been coated inside with that Creem product and has no rust.The rear shocks are aftermarket and appear to be in good shape.
