Buyer needs to read carefully all the rules described on page 34 in the Texas Parks and Wildlife outdoor annual fishing regulation. This package include a spool of 245 yards of 200 lb monofilament line with proper setting for 25 hooks and 18 floats. A rod holder and a self-made spoolholder is included for secure placing of the spool on shore. This design allow one to move the sail line easily along the shore line. Vintage Green Glass 3" Fishing Float 3 piece Dimpled Glass Two Raised Lines #3
I purchased a box of fishing floats from a gentleman that was stationed in Alaska(with the military) in the 60's. He brought the floats home with him. Stored them in the basement under the stairs, and completely forgot about them until now. None of the floats have been cleaned or messed with in anyway since he picked them up off the beach. Some of them still retain some tiny pieces of seaweed or other beach related"dirt" The number in the initial title description is for my reference only. Each listing that I will be placing will be for one float. I don't collect these but I thought they were pretty cool. Please ask if you have any questions. It measures approx. 3" in diameter. It weighs 4.4 oz on my postal scale. The bottom of the float is rather flattened in appearance. There is also some"beach residue" on the float. I found this fly fishing pocket hooks tin at a recent estate sale in Westfield. NJ. It was in a big tackle box that had items in it dating back to the 1930s. The flies are in excellent shape and really are remarkable as you can see by the photos. There are about 26 flies and one Pflueger Indiana spinner. The case and the flies don't have a logo or maker's mark on them. The tin snaps shut at its lip opening. The tin has some scratches.
