This unit is from a Minn Kota 724 power drive trolling motor. This was a factory 24 volt trolling motor but I believe the steering motors are voltage dropped to 12 volts, and these units can be used on other Minn Kota 12 volt power drive trolling motors. I tested this steering motor with 12 volt battery and it turned right and left fine. The hole for the shaft is 1 1/8 inch ID, the electrical wire hookup is only 2 wires. THE HAND TURN THING IS BROKEN OFF, BUT UNIT TURNS FREELY. 360 DEGREES I USED MY TRUCK BATTERY TO TEST THESE& THEY BOTH SEEM TO FUNCTION FINE. THE OLDER 65MX BLEW THE WATER OUT OF THE BARREL ON HIGH SPEED& SEEMED EXTREMELY POWERFUL. BOTH UNITS ARE ALSO SMOOTH& VERY QUIET. Minn Kota Neptune EP 130 Pontoon motor
Minn Kota Neptune EP 130. 130 lbs. total thrust twin trolling motors. This set up clamps to transom and hooks to boat steering linkage. I removed it from my 18 ft. pontoon boat. The motors pushed the boat around a small neighborhood lake without any problems. These motors were completely rebuilt by an authorized Minn Kota service center in October of 2012. They have very few hours of use since then. I have the receipts and all the manuals that go with it. The tilt and trim motor that raises and lowers this unit does not work and will need replaced. I had it checked out at local repair shop and I was told it could not be fixed. I saw a replacement on EBay for forty dollars. These motors are 24 volt and will require at least two 12 volt batteries. I used four and they ran all day on a single charge. The motors ran ok the last time out except ... morefor trim motor. I will not ship this unless you arrange it and then only after I receive payment.
