Quantum 1430 Baitcaster and 300 yard of 30lb Spiderwire braid
The Quantum Classic 1430mg reel is used and has cosmetic flaws but it works perfectly. The braid is Spiderwire Stealth Braid- 30lb at 300 yards and is brand new and has never been used. In late November I had Anglers Choice in San Diego. CA do some custom drags on the reel. The drags were custom made from Shimano drags, It casts far with Huddleston ROF 5 8" baits and this reel is tough enough to pull in some good size legal CA Barracuda(Which it has multiple times) and if works for Cuda's then it will haul in some Muskie's too! This reel is a workhorse and has an MSRP of $99.99. The drags ran me another 25 bucks and the braid goes for 25 bucks at Cabela's. That's about 150 bucks if you went for this reel brand new, got the drags made and then purchased the braid.

This is one of my personal Avet LX 6.0 Silver Offshore Fishing Reel. This reel is an amazingly durable reel for anything from jigging to trolling to drifting to bottom fishing. I easily pulled a 100lb Warsaw Grouper up with this reel last year out of a wreck in 300 ft of water out of Freeport Texas. There is minor boat rash from probably 8 trips last year. But the reel is in perfect working order. I am getting out of the fishing business do to health reasons and am selling all of my gear and tackle. Avet SX 5.3 MC Casting Reel Orange Lever Drag w/Braid!
This is a great little reel. Ive caught several 100lb Thresher Sharks with this little machine and its still got alot of life in it. This is a well used reel. Well maintained and fished frequently. It functions great, has an aftermarket"Kodiak Cam" in it from Avet that makes for a smoother drag curve. It needs some lube and a new Clicker Wheel from Avet as many long runs while trolling before the clicker was turned off have lead to some wear on that plastic part, its an easy replacement i just haven't ordered the part from Avet. Clicker still works as is but when the reel is in"Full" you can hear the clicker as the handle is turned. Not a mechanical issue but it can get annoying. Hard to find"Orange" color w/ magnetic cast control. I routinely cast 4-6oz lures 100yds+ with these reels to breaking fish and ... morehave never had a backlash using the cast control even on the lowest setting. I am selling because I no longer desire to have the magnetic cast control feature and this is the last MC Avet in my arsenal. The reel comes loaded with 20lb Fireline smoke and an approkimatley 80yd topshot of mono.

This batch of trim still has its original packaging band in place and has never been used. The colouring is rich pale copper gold with a gossamer sheen that catches the light so beautifully. The weave is a fine mesh that can be pulled and stretched if required. The trim is 1.25" 3cms) wide and I haven`t unravelled the bundle to measure but I estimate at least 10 metres as it is quite plump. Description Offered here is a traditional Uzbek braid. From Urgut, the 20th century. It is fully hand-woven with homemade silk threads. Excellent condition. Excellent. An integral part of the decoration is jiyak- braiding or trim. Also zeh in Bukhara. Urgut and Samarkand, sheroza in Surkhandarya region. This trim as a rule runs along the subject's edge and supposedly protects the wearer from evil spirits. This braid is the most difficult type of braiding. It is a thin stip of manual embroidery with yurma stitch on a frame. This type was used in Bukhara and Urgut. The level of artistry is quite high. Over the centuries. Various specific types of motifs have been elaborated. All types of decorative trim have nerrow, sharply marked borders outline. Here it is blue and called suv. Within the borders runs the jiyak's wider, main strip ... moremade up of a sequence of monotone motifs. The name of each pattern usually corresponds to an object, similar in appearance, with a talisman meaning that today is really forgotten. Thus on the borders of Bukharan pieces there usually is capsicum pepper-bodom; in Urgut, the twisting snake-moripechon, nightingale's eye-bulbul kuzi and small pieces of coral-marjoncha; in Samarkand, the cat's eye-mushuk kuzi, and lace bracelet-shabaka; in Baisun, the horn-muguz, earrings-sirga and necklace-zanzira. Vintage millinery straw braid I am guessing from the 1930s-50's era. 1. The roll of white woven plastic straw has a lacey edge to it and mimics the fancier weaves of older horsehair ~ Measures at least 8 yds. x 2" wide. There is aged patina with browning to the side edges. It does have an old tag that has old store name and reads it was.60 a yard. 2. A large bundle of tagged Cellustra Braid horsehair which has a distinct X in the weave which sparkles and catches the light. This is a very pretty subtle shade of a light copper rust color. It is tyed and I will not untye it but there are very many yards. Appears in excellent condition. 3. A bundle of a copper and gold 2 toned woven plastic straw. Antique Oak Spool/Thread Cabinet Goff's Best Braid 3 Drawer Case/Chest
Size is 17" wide by 18" deep at the base. 17 5/8" wide by 18 1/8" deep at the top. 11" tall. It is missing 1 small decorative block on the front left side top and a narrow 3/16" wide strip at the right rear edge. That strip would be an easy to find replacement as they used the same strips to hold in backs of mirrors and glass in doors of cabinets. I don't know if the dropped drawer pulls are original or not but were on it when I bought the cabinet out of an estate 20 years ago. Drawers are sound and solid and finger jointed all around. The lettering on the front drawers is on tin. Finish,lettering and advertising on the rear look all original to me. It is solid oak-not veneer. Not perfect but a nice chest.
