No points and the top looks like it has small pecked places but they are smooth so they are inside the glass. There are a couple of very small chips on the bottom. 1- Marked Hemingray 45 and 47-54: It has a flat bottom with no points but the outside rim is textured. 900 Volt Heavy Duty Electrical Connectors Insulators from Mining Machine Plug
These pieces were removed from an underground coal mining machine plug which was damaged-cracked outer housing which makes it illegal to use. This was thrown in the trash. I removed these components during a couple lunch breaks. I did use a couple small set screws and I'll probably need something else the day after I sell these. I'm 67 and retired-it's time for these to sit on someone else's work bench for 10 years.

Vintage Set of Porcelain Insulators. Chocolate Brown, Salvage, Electrical Vintage Set of Porcelain Insulators Nice set of two vintage porcelain insulators. Both are a nice chocolate brown color and are in good vintage condition. The screws in each are firmly attached. The smaller insulator measures 2" long 1.25" wide. It is marked"409 Universal" The larger insulator measures 3" long x 2" wide. It is marked"PP 1929" The larger insulator has some white paint residue along the bottom as noted in photo five. These would make a great addition to your next shabby chic project- use as coat hook on a upcycled coat rack.

Set Of 6 Brown Ceramic Electrical Telephone Pole Insulators Three Have Old Wood
Up for bid here is a set of 6 Vintage Glazed Brown Ceramic Type Insulators that were once used on an electric or telephone pole. They are made out of a ceramic or porcelain material and screwed onto the wood. Three of these old insulators still have the weathered wood pieces still in them so they might work for an art project or something. The only identification that I see on these old brown insulators is that three of them have the number"6112" up on top. These insulators are in average old used condition but there's not much wrong with them. The three that have the wood in them and have the number"6112" in them are about 3-1/4 inches tall while the others are about 3 inches tall. They will come to you in a medium flat rate box.
