this lot is a small custom made heat exchanger. Removed from a working test fixture in a closing plant. It is approximately 9-1/2 inches long and 1-1/2 inch outside diameter. there is a 200 watt 120vac immersion heater in one end(tested/working) a temperature activated adjustable micro switch, at the other end. On the side is a Klixon 32-6 t-stat? there are three common connections; 1) 3/8NPT,1) 1/2 OD(90 degree elbow) 1) 1/4 in OD nipple, the 1/4 nipple has a couple of wrinkles in it. It measures approx. 16.75" high, the round copper reflector is 14" in diameter, and the base diameter is 10 5/8" The copper reflector has the"Universal" center plate and there is a handle on the top of the back side for carrying. The reflector swivels about 270 degrees front to back and also turns side to side. The base plate is very ornate and beautiful(see photos) It comes with the original cord which is in very good condition. The makers identification plate is on the back underneath the handle and reads. Being offered is this antique electric heater's parts ready for restoring by a new owner. It belonged to my grandparents for many years. And I used it awhile until the cable finally broke off from age. Included is a new cable. I was trying to repair this when the ceramic part in back(holding the cable ends) fell and broke into pieces(shown) The maker was Anderson Pitt on Kansas City. Markings state"LI FOOAMPSE. Unknown date. The special feature is the flower-like central form covering the heating coils behind on a stem. This would be beautiful(and functional) if restored and painted again. And weighs over 6.5 lbs with new cable(unattached, shown in package) Also note it has a handle on the top-back of dish.
