You are looking at a working vintage 1940's-1950's Focalipse electric portable adjustable space heater. This heater measures about 18" tall x 15" wide x 10" deep. The heater is Model# 709A rated at 110-120 volts 1000 watts. It is in pretty good shape though it does have surface wear such as marks. Scratches and some surface rust areas. I've plugged this heater in and found it to work though I wouldn't trust that cord for everyday use as it shows wear.

very nice old Universal Copper and cast iron heater. Ceramic element in good working condition. May be changed out and a light bulb used to make this a lamp. cage over the element can be removed, copper reflective face has the look of a flower and the cast iron base forms the stem and leaves. Very attractive design, heater can also be adjusted by redoing the screws on the sides. Nice Badge on the center of the cage, reads, UNIVERSAL. Base measures 8 inches across, made of cast iron for good stability. Some of the original brown paint is off. Has the original electric cord, works nicely.
