COLEMAN Heavy Duty Camping Insulated Metal Cooler. You are bidding on a vintage 1970s style Coleman camping/ picnic cooler. This cooler measures 22 1/2" x 13 1/2" and is about 11" deep. The insulated cooler has a metal handle on each end and both also serve as bottle openers. As shown in photos. The cooler does show some wear. The top of the cooler is a tad scruffed up and does have a bit of rust spotting but nothing too serious. The latch works perfectly and the cooler is insulated wonderfully but there are a couple cracks in the plastic on the underside of the lid, shown in photos. However, again, the cooler is perfectly insulated with no issues there. Coleman Vintage Steel Cooler Diamond Logo With Handle Lock Lid and Tray
For Sale is a mid century(1950's? Coleman steel belted cooler aqua blue in color. This particular cooler has a removable lid that secures in place with the handle. I noticed that it has a bottle opener that Coleman incorporated in the handle. The underside of the lid has a small nail size hole that I was going to fill with epoxy but chose to allow the next owner to fill if desired(see photo) I have not seen many of these around and would consider this Coleman cooler to be somewhat rare. The overall condition is good for it's age. Showing signs of use. The blue paint is in good condition but does have scrapes and very minor surface rust(see photos) The flip up drain plug is in very good condition, securing snug in place. The cooler includes the tray insert which typically is missing with so many vintage coolers.
