At its widest point, at the shoulder of the canister, this canister has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches. The outer measurement of the opening at the top is 4 1/2 inches in diameter. Very nice ceramic or porcelain rice cannister. Deep blue and white. One side has a windmill scene. 2 have a person and the other is plain. I do not have the lid for this. It does have some crazing, but in otherwise fine condition. 7" high x 4" wide. The thing that I can't figure out is the marking. I have seen similar, but this one looks like it says Nedkar. I haev tried and tried to find out any info on this and just can't. But it is a pretty piece.

Here we offer you COFFEE canister or jar i n the Apple pattern. This measures about 6 3/4" not includ ing the lid by about 5 1/2" across at the top. It is not without it's flaws so please rea d the descr iption carefully and look at the pictures. There is a large crack in the front which looks wor se from the back. There is another crac k in the back corner. There is a chip in the lid. There is a small brown spot on the lid we couldn't get out, there is also some crazing(not very obvious) and a f ew other brown spots. However. Start/Stop switch on motor mount and in good order. Originally a $2000 setup, now greatly reduced. Includes 10 feet of 8" flexible hosing in excellent condition, as shown. Has long 3-phase cord connection.Three phase motors tend to last very long time as they are brushless and have one moving part plus two bearings. Motor looks to be a TEFC motor also(totally enclosed fan-cooled) This machine easily collects a 36" single headed planer for example or branched to collect several smaller machines. Collector was beat up by auctioneer's trucker a few years ago and is not pretty after it came out of a factory and it is missing a knob at the canister. Also though not important. Thankfully it is fully functional. Damage and superficial rust are only cosmetic, the v-filters are not ripped open and they do their job. These cannister filters are particularly desirable as they filter down to around.5 microns or so, rather than the cheaper filter cloth type bags they replace which are far far dustier. They have far more surface area(600% than cloth bags; cannisters are less of a fire hazard also but are expensive, $329 each on Amazon: Jet 708639B. The flour has a chip on the foot as does the sugar and both can be viewed in the photos. MCCOY 3239 STRAWBERRY COUNTRY SMALL CANNISTER/COOKIE JAR, EXCELLENT CONDITION
For sale is a McCoy cannister. Strawberry Country pattern, in excellent condition. It is the smallest of a set of four. It stands 8" tall to the top of the knob on the lid and the diameter of the opening is 4 1/2" It was produced sometime between 1961 and 1989. My price guide doesn't give specific dates to specific patterns. I have a full set of these and this is an extra I found. I have had this in my kitchen for many years and it is so cheerful, it brightens up the room. It is quite heavy as all the older McCoy items tend to be. It is marked on the bottom: McCoy USA 135. There are no cracks or crazing, no stains. There is one chip the size of a pencil lead on the rim at the bottom of the lid that fits down inside the jar. This is very collectible. Switlik 6 person off-shore life raft in cannister
This unit was on a vessel I purchased two years ago. It has never been deployed. It has never been serviced to my knowlege either. The certification expired in 2001. It is unlikely that a Switlik dealer will re-certify it after 13 years in the can but one never knows unless you want to take it to an authorized repair station for a quote. I replaced this unit with a new off-shore raft a few weeks ago in preparation for a long offshore trip. This one might be suitable for near shore emergencies or in the Great Lakes. I wouldn't trust it off shore without a complete overhaul. The new Switlik equivilent to this 6 person raft was priced to me by Switlik at over $7000.00. It was a very good raft in its day. It would make a great practice piece for drills or could be converted to a water toy if you removed all of the pyrotechnics. Food, fishing ... moregear and water that it was packed with. It is quite heavy at about 85 or 90 lbs. It cannot be sent UPS so I would have to arrange something special for shipping with the new owner. If you live a reasonable distance from Cleveland OH, Wilmington NC, Norfolk VA or Newport RI, I will be making trips to these places in the near future and could help with delivery for a reasonable sharing of costs. Other than that it will have to be a buyer pick-up. Please note that the mounting rack for the life raft shown on the vessel in the picture is part of the vessel and is NOT included in this offering.
