LINCOLN K664-2 ALUMINUM WELDING WIRE FEED KIT NR!
This is a NO RESERVE auction for a Lincoln K664-2 aluminum feed kit for the Lincoln SP-100T or SP-170T mig welders. It is a replacement sleeve that is placed inside the wire feed cable of your welder. Replacing the wound wire sleeve with a smooth nylon type sleeve that allows the soft aluminum wire to be pushed through the welding cable. I had to weld a few non-structural parts on my kit airplane and always wanted to try welding aluminum. You need to use 100% Argon gas and practice. The kit works reasonably well for small projects, but if you are going do alot of aluminum welding you will want a spool gun or go with a Tig. This kit is complete, with very little use. The 1 pound spool of wire that came with the kit is not included, but everything else is there. I no longer have a need for this and I am selling it at a great starting price ... morewith NO RESERVE.
