This is a more modern example of King Liberty than those which were made in 1920s/30s and design is different more towards the Super 20 King. It appears to be small bore.448" close to medium measured on the 2nd slide please see caliper photo! This is a vintage and used instrument in nice shape considering all those years. Plays excellent. This trumpet fininish/patina is almost all raw ... morebrass with some tarnishing which could be polished. There are little leftovers of original lacquer and those are on actual bell flare and bell stamping where the text is. Little leftover of lacquer on the valve section. I don`t see repairs. Resolders on this horn. This trumpet plays great and you won`t hear small bore in it`s sound. The best news are that it appears to have a recent valve work done which I determined by looking at the pistons as those appear to be freshly plated and are also very tight. This kind of job would cost you at least $400-$500 and at a little higher cost you are already buying a trumpet with valve job already done and horn ready to play out of the case. DON`T MISS! Engravings on the bell and valve section look excellent and everything is fully readable. All slides are coming out as well( except the very front part of the tuning slide which I don`t want to force it out) Horn can be tuned by the tuning slide part which works. Really a great buy like for the money and also if you are a fan of a Vintage King trumpets which are very high quality made to last! Trumpet comes with newer Case which I believe to be a Holton case.

This Bach Mercedes comes with its original black plastic hardshell case, which has working latches, a mouthpiece slot, and some storage room for small accessories. Two basically unused brass adjustable relief valves 1/2' NPT 0 to 50 psi
Bought these two brass adjustable(0 to 50 psi) 1/2" NPT relief valves a few years ago. Turns out they were sized improperly. I need a 75 psi relieve valve. Note in the background of one of the photos my receipt for one of them- from McMaster-Carr- over $50 for one. So you can get them for a good price here. I did actually use some pipe dope and install the valves until I realized I needed different valves. So they have been fooled with but never really actually used.
