Ski Doo Axle Bearing and Seal kit
Buy it now" is for two Axle Seals and two Bearings for vintage Ski-Doo. Enough for one axle. These parts fit Ski-Doo axles from 1962 well into the 70's. Bearings are sealed on both sides so they do not have to be lubricated or you can pull one or both off if you would like. The Seals have a ridge on the outer edge that fits into the groove of the chain case and axle cap on the front axle and the link plates on the rear axle. You are bidding on a vintage piece of maritime navigation equipment. This Hansen Bearing Board was intended to be used while the vessel was underway and its sighting posts aligned. A bearing could be taken and then transferred to a nautical chart. The original instructions tell how the bearing board could be used to take cross bearings. Bow and beam bearings. And in changing course. The board also has a Traverse Table on its other side. The instructions for using this table are also included. I am not positive as to the age of this equipment. The copyright was granted in 1921. The instructions have no date. But they do have the patent# 1393891. The Hansen Bearing Board was manufactured by the Kelvin& Wilfrid O. White Co. The board is advertised as a combined Pelorus and Traverse Table. It measures 6.75 x 4.25" and is made of what ... moreappears to be mahogany that has the Pelorus and Traverse table mounted to it. 4 Bolt Profile Racing Splinedrive Spider. 104 BCD. This spider is great for running the outboard bottom bracket that Profile makes. It puts the chainring or sprocket closer to the center line of the frame so your chainline doesn't get thrown off. This one is in great shape and the blue looks great. Pretty much no scratches at all in the spots that are visible when installed. You can see normal wear and tear at the point where the crank arm is tightend against the spline drive insert. This is a Saura Hand Bearing Compass Type HB-65 Saura Marine Instruments Co. LTD. Nice! Great item good condition on the case and compass, Leather strap is in tact but a bit distressed has adjustable clip plus shoulder pad, compass light was in working condition right when I turned it on after I purchased it from last owner, the light worked for a moment then went out so might need new batteries. There is a spare light bulb included, top comes off quite easily so be careful when you open top, opens and closes normally, the inside of the case is all complete keeps the compass in place.
