Morgan Silver Dollar & Churchill Coin 3 Piece Lucite Desk Set (M1884o,1887,1888)
Here’s a circa 1965 Security Federal anniversary or commemorative Lucite Desk Set consisting of a pair of bookends or paperweights and a desk pen holder without its original pen. There a two coins incased in each Lucite block. One Morgan Silver Dollar and one Churchill Great Britain Crown Coin. All three Churchill Crown Coins are dated 1965, which represents the bank anniversary year and dates the desk set. The three Morgan Silver Dollars are dated 1884O, 1887 and 1888. There are no mint marks on the 1987 and 1888 coins. The clear Lucite material and design of each piece in the set made it quite difficult to photograph the details of the coins. Because the desk set was some sort of commemorative presentation the quality of the coins used could be un-circulated, however I can not attest to that as I am not a coin expect and after all, the ... morecoins are embedded in Lucite. There are no chips or cracks in any of the pieces in the set, however you will find scratches in the Lucite on all due to age and use. Nothing serious and mostly on the bottom surfaces of each piece. The triangle shaped bookends are approximately 4 ½” tall. The desk pen holder stand 3” at its tallest point. Rinse well and examine it. If residue remains, soak the container for a longer period. When the residue is gone, wash in hot, soapy water, and rinse well. Your clean Tupperware will have a new lease on life. Another way to clean Tupperware that has sticky. Gummy stains is to spray it with oven cleaner. We recommend doing this outdoors, on a bed of newspaper. Allow the cleaner to work for a few minutes, and then wash in hot, soapy water. Profile 4th gen 180mm 3 piece cranks with sugino parts, champ bmx, 23 old school
Here is a rare set of profile 4th generation 180 mm 3 piece cranks in good shape. The only real difference between these and the 3rd generation versions is that these do not have the indentions for the crank arm decals. And these come with bearing cup/cones that you do not have to use if you would rather have the old school look. These were manufactured in the late 80's and early 90's. One of the crank arms has a small ding and one has some flaked chrome on the top boss(see pics) All hardware seen in pics is included and original to this set, bearings are stamped profile. The decals are repops. All threads are good and crank set has no functionality issues. Here is a neat old vintage steel fishing rod. Marked with a symbol and"3" on the reel seat. Length is about 54 inches. All 3 of the line guides are good and securely mounted. The 2 interior guides are bound nicely with factory metal bands. 2 of the guides have yellow/orange glass/agate inserts which are in nice condition. Glass is missing on middle guide. The handle is cork. The cork has some small flaws but is still nice. Has a plastic butt cap. Reel seat screw and clamp is good I do not see any other serious damage nor repairs. I took several photos so you judge the cosmetic condition from the photos. Some wear and paint loss from handling and use but overall quite nice condition. C&C Drums 3 Piece Acrylic Kit w/ Humes&Berg Enduro Pro Hardshell Cases
Up for grabs is a C&C clear acrylic 3 piece drumkit. I've recently had some unfortunate circumstances which has led to the departure of some cherished gear in my collection. Sizes are 24x14 bass drum. 13x9 rack tom(no mount) and 16x16 floor tom(no mount) This kit sounds INCREDIBLE. It is, hands down, the best kit I have had the priveledge of playing: great projection with a buttery tone. These drums are perfect for recording and even better for live application. I have practiced, gigged, and toured on this kit, but the only wear and tear is on the bass drum hoops from(1) replacing drum heads and(2) pedal rash from attaching the pedal. There are some small scratches on the acrylic, but they are only noticeable from close inspection. The toms are equipped with Aquarian force 10 batter heads with Aquarian classic clears on the resonant ... moreside. The bass drum is equipped with an Evans GMAD batter and a stock C&C resonant head. Included with the drums are Humes&Berg Enduro Pro hard shell cases, which I believe are the best hard shell cases on the market.
