We are selling one of two heated platen 4-post hydraulic Bruno presses in this sale. These presses have a heated 72x60"surface area with 48" of daylight. The down acting cylinder has 48" of actual travel. Both presses have shuttling bolsters meaning the entire lower heated platen can move out of the press via a chain drive. This feature is one of the best allowing molds or dies to be mounted and fixtured easily. In this sale you have a choice of either press system. They both have Allen Bradley Slick 500 PLC Controllers. They both have Incredible heated platens purchased new in 2011 from Venango. The heated and cooled platens cost $150K per press(set) and are capable of heating from ambient to 850 degrees F in 15 minutes. Each press has 24 touch screen programmable zones. Each platen also has 1.00" thick Cogetherm-M insulator ... moreplates which cost about $10K per press new at this size. These presses were set up for a composite molding project and not used more than a few hundred cycles on one and the other was never put on line or in production at all. Both presses have automated pre-consolidated sheet. Shuttling/transfer systems for large 65x50" panels(approximately) The oven portions are 10x10' cubed by themselves, absolutely massive in size. Each of the custom shuttling systems and ovens have 24 programmable zones each and everything is adjustable and motorized. The integrated heater systems cost about $125K each.
