George Nelson for Herman Miller 3 piece 2 Dressers and Vanity 1950's
Up for sale is a great 3 piece George Nelson designed for Herman Miller walnut veneered vanity and dressers. They are all 18 1/2" deep and 29 3/4" high. The smaller dresser is 34" wide and the longer one is 56 1/4" wide. The vanity is 30" wide. These pieces are over 60 years old and have a very nice patina. They have been gently cleaned. The cabinet cases have scratches and indentations. The center divider on the larger cabinet is cracked. The vanity is faded inside and the 24" fluorescent fixture needs to be replaced. It provides power but doesn't light the bulb. The back of the vanity has a split but it really doesn't affect anything. The vanity hangs between the two dressers and could be removed if you just wanted to use the dressers. It rests on the cabinet and hangs on 2 screws. Which were probably ... morereplaced. The larger dresser has 4 drawers and a 2 shelf cabinet the shelves with tapered ends. There is a foil tag in the smaller dresser with 4 drawers.
