Labeler LSI 20-71 and Multifeeder MFT350 Pharmaceutical Insert Serialization This listing is for a product labeling machine that consists of a friction feeder and a print-and-apply labeler mounted on a stainless steel conveyor system. The conveyor belt is 3 inches wide and perforated to permit the installed vacuum system to apply a suction through belt to hold down the products. Products are fed onto the belt with the Multifeeder friction feeder machine. The product then passes under the LSI Print and Apply head where the label is printed and tamped onto the product. After the label is applied the product drops off of the perforated belt onto the 8 inch wide discharge belt. This system was original owned by a pharmaceutical company where it was making pharmaceutical inserts. We applied power to the main unit and the conveyors and suction ... moreblower worked well. The labeler turned on and the Multifeeder was manual jogged and fed some index cards. The machine is very clean and and in excellent condition and shows minor usage. Currently. The size of the product that would fit in the machine would be anything less 3 inch wide, less than 1 3/4 inch high, and the length is only constrained by how it would stack in the Multifeeder. The print head can be adjusted on a slide perpendicular to the belt by 2.5 inches. The height of the printer is currently fixed, but it could be raised by extending the stainless steel support beam. Could be used for pharmaceutical inserts. Date and lot coding, leaflet and manual inserting, serialization, etc. The machine was originally equipped with a Videojet Excel Series 100 continuous ink jet printer that was mounted after the tamp-down labeler, which is NOT included in this sale.
