However there is one small"problem" This being that the small peg on the bin that tells the unit the bin is in place has been broken off. Please refer to the pictures provided below for more details on the condition of the item. When we tested this unit we first had to fix the problem mentioned above by taking a piece of paper and wedging it into the hole to depress the safety switch. After we did this we were able to put the bin back in place and use the shredder as normal. At first we inserted one sheet of paper that went through fine. This thing will shred like there is no tomorrow. My only dislike was that I didn't get enough paper to shred! I really like the bags for cleanup- I have used less than 10 total. The smart sense is nice as well. this auction is for the whole unit. In the original box, plus the paperwork for it, the oil and a bunch of bags. Up for auction is a Fellowes Intellishred C-480c Cross Cut Shredder. I will not get deep into the general details covered in the official product description I will instead focus on this particular unit. This shredder appears to be in outstanding condition. Cosmetically there is some wear near where you feed the items to be shredded. Just looks as though the surface has smoothed a little from use. There are actually very few other signs of wear on the machine. The top feeder gaurd(above the Fellowes dog symbol, and left of the C-480 control panel) is missing one of the little prong pieces(I photographed the good one, the other side is missing it) this really does not affect the functiallity of the machine but I will start my price lower than the competition to compensate for this minor flaw. I tested this item with paper, cardboard, a CD ... moreand an old credit card and the machine did its work on each of these. I got a photo of the cardboard being eaten/shredded. The bin inside is in very good shape and when I got it there was a plastic bag inside so it is obvious the previous owner used bags to catch all the shreddings.
