Although the first one will be the"default" I am reducing my accumulation of GOOD WORKING typewriters. Each one I offer has been tested and is working well.NOT repaired or refurbished. Brother has made a lot of models similar to this over the decades. All operating about the same, with somewhat varying features for marketing purposes. About the only real difference is that the ones they are selling now are assembled in Malaysia and other locations. While for many years they were built in USA. This model(and the AX-4000) was still being sold at Staples the last time I checked. The manual I am supplying is a downloaded copy on CDR. I do NOT have ... morethe original cover that clamps over the keys. This works great as a PLAIN VANILLA TYPEWRITER. Just plug it in and start typing. There are MANY fancy features you might find useful in typing, all explained in the manual. This uses standard Brother(or third party generic) ribbon cassettes and correction tapes. The correctable ribbon in it is good but over half used; two more new generic ribbons are included. These are replaceable in seconds. The correction tape in it is used up. So I am also including two NEW brother correction tapes, packaged. The supplies alone are worth almost the entire opening bid price! There are loads of features available on this by just pressing certain code keys. Explained fully in the manual. Such as 10-12 characters per inch, single 1-1/2 or double spacing, underlining, bold typing, spell checking, and more. It only does these when you press the special keys, otherwise it just plain types! This uses a"daisy wheel" which can be changed out in seconds to give different fonts. Still available. Hello everyone. And welcome to another storage find. This is for a Brother AX-450 Electronic Typewriter that was found in a storage locker. When i found it. The box was sealed, and looked like it was never used. i opened the box, and took pictures. I'm listing and selling as used, because i have no way of knowing its past. after opening the box the plastic was still around the typewriter, and all its packaging is there, but it appears to me that it was opened and sealed back up.it is in good cosmetic condition. I have never used an electric typewriter, so i'm in no way qualified to say its been tested fully. I plugged it in, and turned on the power and it seems to work the way it should. i pressed a few keys, and they functioned properly. i do not know if there is ink in it. the user manual is still in the box. The original packaging ... moreis included also. the box is complete with minor scuffs and scrapes, dings and dents. i do not know the date of manufacture. I do not know if this typewriter was used by the previous owner. And sealed back up by them. i'm just stating the condition honestly as i see it. For sale I have a Brother Model GX 6000 Correctronic Electronic Typewriter. It has been tested and work good. It types great as pictured. The correcting ribbon is dry and hardly works so it will need to be replaced. Cosmetically it is in good condition with some light scratches and minor wear. This listing is for a Brother SX-4000 electronic-typewriter with a snap on key cover. I put a brand new ribbon in. But it needs a daisy wheel and a correction tape. I do not have either if these items, so I was not able to thoroughly test it. I did test every key and the self demo which all seem to work well, but without the daisy wheel I could not print anything. They typewriter is in great clean preowned condition, looks well taken care of. It has a built-in carrying handle and an opening in the back for the attached power cord to hide-away for storage.
